In Dying Light: The Beast, the Hydro-Puzzle is a side quest that sends you into the sewers to fix problems with the city’s water supply. Along the way, you’ll need to fight through infected, follow the water pipes, and crack open a hidden safe. How to start the Hydro-Puzzle Quest
You can unlock the Hydro-Puzzle side quest after finishing the main story quest Power Gambit in Dying Light: The Beast. Once you’ve activated the first Relay Station, Pietro will contact you over the comms asking for help. If you head over to the Old Villa area, Pietro will mention some problems with the water supply and ask Kyle to check it out. From there, your next stop will be the Water Pumping Station.
Hydro Puzzle Safe Code – Sewer Safe Code
Head to the quest marker and clear out the Virals patrolling the hallways. Inside one of the offices, you’ll trigger a cutscene where Pietro and Kyle chat over the comms about what’s causing the water supply issue at the Town Hall. Checking the Water Network Map reveals your next destination: the Sewer Maintenance Point.
Once inside, climb down the ladder and get ready to explore the zombie-filled sewers in search of the pressure valves.
Keep an eye out for a yellow pipe connected to a water pressure meter. Follow the yellow pipes deeper into the sewers, past the infected. Eventually, you’ll find a small office. Inside, there’s a note saying that a safe combination can be revealed with a special lantern. Just shine your UV light on the wall where the note is posted, and the code will appear. Safe Code: 21 – 69 – 35. Inside the safe, you’ll find some valuables and a Medkit.
