Feline Witcher Gear is one of the most popular light armours in the game “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered”. This set of light armour can be chosen by players who prefer quick actions and would like to remain mobile during battles. There are many stages of upgrades from Basic to Grandmaster. Here are all the Feline Armour diagram locations and where to find each version of the set.
All Cat School Feline Witcher Armour Locations
Feline Witcher Gear is among the light armours that players may gather throughout The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered game. This type of armour focuses on quick attacks, and its bonus stats are suitable for a player’s aggressive approach to fighting. There are several variations of the Feline Armour available during gameplay, and the diagrams of each of them are located throughout the maps of Velen, Novigrad, Skellige, and Toussaint.
Basic Feline Armour
The diagrams for the Basic Feline Armour set can be obtained after reaching level 17. They can be found in a cave that is underneath Temple Isle, which is in Novigrad. The cave entrance can be found at the west of the island, close to the cliffs.
In the cave, go along the path until you arrive at a room with the golem and a statue puzzle ahead. In order to move forward, you have to solve the statue puzzle by making all statues face the middle of the room by using the levers.
You then need to venture further, obtain a key, unlock the lab, kill the boss, then loot his body to get the blueprints. This includes the Feline Armor, Trouser, Boots, and Gauntlet. You can visit any blacksmith to have it crafted.
Basic Feline Steel Sword
Use Fast Travel to get to Drahim’s Castle and enter the castle. After entering the castle, take the ladder down to the lower floor, where you will find the chest with the Feline Steel Sword Blueprint.
Basic Feline Silver Sword
Fast Travel to Est Tayiar, which is located to the east of Novigrad, and proceed to the indicated area. Drop down into the hole in the ground, and make a right turn. Cast the spell “Aard” to break through the wall, and search the dirt on the ground for the chest with the diagram.
Basic Feline Crossbow
Travel to the western coast of Redania, west of Novigrad. At the shipwreck near the island to the south of the lighthouse marker, you will locate the diagram. Get into the ship and head to the cargo hold of the ship.
Enhanced Feline Armour
You can only equip the Enhanced Feline Armor after reaching level 23. Similar to the Basic Feline Armor, you can visit any blacksmith to craft it.
The Enhanced Feline Armour blueprint is located inside Aeramas Abandoned Manor’s upper floor. You will get to this point while exploring Velen – No Man’s Land. Go into the burnt ruins and venture upstairs until you enter a room where you will find a chest.
Search the chest to get the Enhanced Feline Armour blueprint. You can find other Enhanced Feline Gear blueprints in other parts of Novigrad and Velen.
Enhanced Feline Boots
Go to the cave located north of Benek and explore it with your Witcher Senses activated. You will not have to venture very deep into the cave. Look to the left for a chest that contains the Enhanced Feline Boots Diagram.
Enhanced Feline Gauntlets
Head towards Codger’s Quarry northwest of the Stonecutter’s Settlement. If this is your first time here, then you will have to handle some miners and enemies that block the way first. After clearing the area, go towards the back of the mine and keep to the left wall; you should be able to locate the chest with the Enhanced Feline Gauntlets diagram in it.
Enhanced Feline Trousers
Visit the southeastern section of the central island of Velen. Find a building which you can access from the path close to the water. This area is just south of Novigard Gate and east of the West Gate in Velen. Get inside the building and get behind the screen door near the entrance until you see the hole on the floor that leads to the basement.
In the basement, you will be introduced to a bigger cave-like room. Do not proceed through either of the two grilled gates in the main area. Rather, use the Witcher Senses towards the opposite wall to spot bricks which you can displace. To the right of the bricks, there is a button for accessing the hidden door. The chest with the Enhanced Feline Trousers Diagram can be found behind this door.
Enhanced Feline Steel Sword
Find the cave southwest of Toderas and northeast of Reardon Manor in Velen. There is a bear standing at the entrance of the cave; hence, kill it first before moving on inside. After eliminating the bear, head straight, and you will see the Enhanced Feline Steel Sword Diagram inside a chest.
Enhanced Feline Silver Sword
In the area of the Oxenfurt Gate in Novigrad, you will come across a hidden ladder that leads to a ledge. From here, climb up to the building and enter inside. Walk upstairs and move on to the next floor. You will find the chest lying beside a bed. The Enhanced Feline Silver Sword Diagram is inside it.
Superior Feline Armour
After reaching level 29, you can get the Superior Feline Armor. Unlike the Enhanced Feline Armor set, you don’t need to visit multiple areas to gather the entire set. But similar to the Basic and Enhanced armor, you can visit any blacksmith to craft it.
The location of the Superior Feline Armour Diagram can be found in some ruins close to Kaer Trolde in Skellige. You will need to move north on the island to reach the mountains where the cave can be found. Enter the cave and locate the chest that contains the Superior Feline Armour Diagram. Be aware that the location might contain enemies, especially a giant troll.
The Diagram will contain the following components:
- Diagram: Superior Feline Boots.
- Diagram: Superior Feline Trousers.
- Diagram: Superior Feline Gauntlet.
- Diagram: Superior Feline Armor.
Superior Feline Silver Sword
Head over to the cave located west of Ursten. There are several foes at Level 18 present within the cave, which should be eliminated before proceeding further. On reaching the biggest cave area, move towards the left and locate a ledge, where you will see a breakable wall. Using the skill Aard on the wall would allow you to obtain the Superior Feline Silver Sword Diagram.
Superior Feline Steel Sword
Find the cave that’s located at the northeastern side of the main city, beyond the water. Dive into the water and kill the Level 19 Golem standing in your path. Once you have killed it, check behind the Golem, where you will find a wooden platform. The chest will be found on that platform, between a barrel and some crates.
Mastercrafted Feline Armour
At level 34, you can get your hands on the Mastercrafted Feline Armor set and related weapons. You need to find a specialised blacksmith to help you craft this set, and for that, you need to venture out to Novigrad. You will find him north of the Fish Market here. All the armor pieces can be found in one location.
The Mastercrafted Feline Armour set can be located in Skellige Isles, in a cave south of Trotheim. In order to find the Mastercrafted Feline Armour diagram, you must go to the area of Kaer Trolde, find the cave with the Mastercrafted Feline Gear diagram and enter it, going down the pathway.
The Mastercrafted Feline Armour diagram will be located in the chest along the way. In order to advance the Feline set to Mastercrafted level, you have to craft the previous levels of the Feline armour.
Mastercrafted Feline Steel Sword
Go to Kaer Gelen Ruins in Skellige, and you’ll see that there is an entrance at the back of the Wraith den. Kill the Level 29 Wraiths, and move up the stairs. Halfway up the stairs, you’ll come across an entrance in the wall. Open the entrance and get the Mastercrafted Feline Steel Sword Diagram from there.
Mastercrafted Feline Silver Sword
Go to the island southeast of Skellige, east of Harviken. Search for the cave, which is found midway up the hillside, and go inside the cave. You will see a blocked passage in there; blast it with Aard and go down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, you will find two chests; open the chest on your right.
Grandmaster Feline Armour
Grandmaster Feline Armour can be acquired only through the Blood and Wine DLC. Diagrams for this armour can be found around the Toussaint region. One can begin the quest Scavenger Hunt: Grandmaster Feline Gear by talking to Lazare Lafargue, who is the Grandmaster Armourer from Beauclair. This quest will guide one to the locations of diagrams for Grandmaster Feline Gear.
The diagram for the Grandmaster Feline Armour can be found in a ruin in Toussaint. Search around the marked location and find the chest that contains the armour diagram. The remaining Grandmaster Feline Gear diagrams can be found nearby. Once you have acquired all the required diagrams, go back to Lazare Lafargue to craft Grandmaster Feline Armour. You need to be level 40 to equip this armor set.
Grandmaster Feline Trousers and Boots
Fast Travel to Arthach Palace Ruins, then proceed to the marked spot. Upon reaching there, kill the bandits and go into the building next to you. There, you will see a chest with Feline Trousers and Boots diagrams inside.
Grandmaster Feline Steel Sword, Silver Sword, and Gloves
Travel quickly to Arthach Palace Ruins and proceed to the indicated point. Go inside the cave and slay the archespores while moving through it. Get to the end of the cave and take a left turn to find the Feline Steel Sword, Silver Sword, and Gloves Diagrams.
