Spread throughout Castor Woods, these abandoned convoys trucks are filled with crates of ammo, medical supplies, guns, and other scarce equipment. All Convoy Locations
Convoys are also one of the best places to resupply on ammo in Dying Light: The Beast. There are convoys all around Castor Woods, and each one is an abandoned location with locked-up trucks full of bullets, meds, and other useful equipment. They’re simple to find on your map they’re pin pointed with a small truck symbol. Once you arrive at a convoy, the challenge will be how to get at those trucks and take the loot within them.
Ruined Highway Convoy – Northwest Industrial Zone
It is a small convoy location hidden in the northwest corner of the Industrial Zone. This loot typically consists of ammo, throwables, valuables, and a weapon.
Industrial Bridge Convoy – Southwest Industrial Zone
If you go southwest in the Industrial Zone, you’ll encounter a big convoy over the bridge. Because it’s a large one, the resistance will be stronger, but the reward is worth it. You will get ammo, throwables, precious items, and even epic or rare firearms.
Power Plant Convoy – Recreation Island
On Recreation Island, you’ll come across another small convoy near the power plant. The rewards are similar to other smaller sites, with ammo, throwables, valuables, and a rare weapon.
City Bridge Convoy – North Old Town
This is one of the large convoys on the bridge of North Old Town. The clearing will reward you with not only ammo, valuables, and weapons but also something special – the Demolisher Trophy Charm.
Town Hall Convoy – Center Old Town
In the middle of Old Town, close to the Town Hall, there’s a small convoy. In the loot you will get ammo, throwables, valuables, and a rare weapon.
Island Tunnel Convoy – Mental Asylum
One of the large convoys is in the Mental Asylum area in a tunnel. Similar to the others, it’s not a safe location, but the rewards are worth it: ammo, throwables, valuables, and a rare weapon.
Mountain Path Convoy – East National Park
Far over in the east of the National Park, the convoy is lined up on the mountain road. This is a big convoy. Be prepared for a battle. If you clear it, you will earn ammo, throwables, valuables, and unusual weapons.
Farmlands Convoy – Southwest Farmlands
In the southwest corner of the Farmlands, there’s a smaller convoy location. It’s a small one, and you can loot ammo, throwables, valuables, and a rare weapon.
Mountain Tunnel Convoy – Northeast Villa Area
In the villa area northeast, there’s another large convoy located in a mountain tunnel. It’s well-guarded, but the loot is worth it: ammo, throwables, valuables, and rare weapons.
How to Open a Military Convoy
To enter the loot stash at a convoy, you’ll need an access card. These cards tend to drop from the armored “military” zombies, the ones that wear helmets and body armor. Kill them and search their body.
It’s not always a guaranteed drop, but most of the time you’ll receive the convoy access card you need. The cards are also colored, corresponding to the type of convoy. With the correct card, make your way to the rear of the convoy truck and unlock it.
