During the Golden Age of Pirates, sugar was as valuable as gold, and robbing a plantation was the quickest way to amass a fortune. Edward Kenway teams up with James Kidd to rob the wealthy plantation. This quest in the early game is a test of your stealth skills, requiring you to tail a target from Andreas Island across the ocean to Cat Island, where the plantation is located.
This guide helps you to complete the quest without raising any alarms, and also killing no one in the process.
How to get the Quest
To get the quest, meet James Kidd on Andreas Island, where she will brief you on the situation and present us with the opportunity, and also leave us at the cliff to tail the target. The image below shows the location of the quest at the starting point.
From the cliff, leap onto a tree branch and onto the next tree, and directly jump down into the grass field to get close to the target, as shown in the image below.
Once the target finishes speaking with the locals and begins to move, quickly scale the nearby tree. Leap across the adjacent branches, and track his movements from above, wait until he boards the ship.
Following the target will lead you to the shores of Cat Island. Head slightly to your left, drop into a low crouch all the way until you reach the target near the warehouse, as shown in the image below.
Listen to the conversation and wait for the target to move around the warehouse. Scale the side of the warehouse, eavesdropping on the conversation will help you to locate the key in the plantation, as shown in the image below.
Mr.Beckford has the key and is at the main building on the plantation. Turn right and lead on to the branch, as shown in the image below.
These trees are adjacent to one another. Navigating this natural way will lead you to the main building’s rooftop. Wait for a brief moment for him to be isolated, which he will be in a minute, as shown in the image below.
Once he gets isolated, drop down silently to pickpocket the key and head back to the warehouse and loot the sugar.
