Pokémon Pokopia Heat Rock Location: How To Make Bubbly Basin Habitat Warmer

To heat up the habitats in Pokémon Pokopia, you need the Heat Rock. This useful item can help you raise the temperature in the nearby habitats and is a requirement for completing some comfort requests by the Pokémon in the Bubbly Basin. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find your first Heat Rock, how to get more through trading and the 3D Printer, and how to use it correctly.

How To Get A Heat Rock In Pokémon Pokopia

You can find the Heat Rock item in a secluded cave right near the main town. If you have built Sharpedo’s habitat and summoned a Sharpedo to your base, then it will request you to build the Sharpedo Submarine by finding the Sharpedo Submarine Kit.

It will also point you to the direction of a secret cave in the corner of the area. It is to the right of the large staircase that you took to enter Bubbly Basin. While checking out the initial area, you will spot molten lava, and right beside it is a Pokeball. Pick it up to get the Heat Rock item.

How To Get More Heat Rocks

There are three different methods that you can use to get more Heat Rocks. You can either use the 3D Printer, or purchase it from Gimmighoul. You can also use a Pokemon with the Trade Speciality to get it randomly.

    Using the 3D Printer

For anyone requiring more Heat Rocks, it would be best to use the 3D Printer. You need to take a picture of the Heat Rock and then select Y to save it. After that, you can go to any Pokémon Rebuild Pokémon Centre and make use of the 3D Printer. Every Heat Rock will require two Pokémetal Ingots for printing.

    Buy from Gimmighoul

Another way to get a Heat Rock is through a trade with Gimmighoul, but again there are no guarantees for getting the Heat Rock through this method. In order to stand a chance of getting the Heat Rock, you need to offer Gimmighoul an Appraised Lost Relic, Rainbow Feather, or a Silver Feather.

You should know that there is always a chance that you might not get the Heat Rock through the trade because the rewards are random. Gimmighoul is found in the Ruined Museum, which is located north of Rocky Ridges. However, before you can start the trade with him, it is necessary to build a Mini Museum habitat for Gimmighoul.

    Trade Speciality Pokémon

There is another method for getting Heat Rock. You can use the Trade Speciality Pokémon in order to do this. But you should remember that their items are random, meaning that you will not get a Heat Rock for sure. In order to be able to trade, you have to build a Long Table and attach a powered Cash Register to it. After that, Trading Speciality Pokémon will start to provide items in exchange, and you will be able to acquire a Heat Rock.

How To Make Bubbly Basin Habitat Warmer

A Heat Rock is perhaps one of the most effective methods of creating a warm habitat for your Pokémon in the Bubbly Basin region of Pokémon Pokopia. Keep in mind that a Heat Rock only warms the area around it, so where you place it is important. For the best results, always place the Heat Rock within the habitat itself, rather than at some other point in the Bubbly Basin. If the Pokémon still isn’t satisfied, try moving the Heat Rock closer to its home or add another heat source nearby until the habitat reaches the desired comfort level.
