If you want the Templar Armor in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, find all 5 Templar Keys and the right place to use them. Pick up the “Damn Fine Gear” quest early, and it will lead you to the new Templar Armor and the 5 keys scattered across the world map.
How to Start the Damn Fine Gear Quest in AC Black Flag Resynced
You would have automatically started the Damn Fine Gear side quest while completing the main story quests in the early game, specifically after completing the This Old Cove main quest. At the end of the quest, after assassinating James du Casse, you will get the first of the 5 Templar Keys from his body. From there, check your world map to find a new marked side quest in The Great Iguana.
Now, to collect the rest of the keys, you need to go through several other side quests in the game. Some of them are locked and are available after pushing through the main story, while others are available from the get-go. There is no particular order in completing the side quests, as you can pick them up as and when available.

Most of these quests are assassination quests, and you need to kill several NPCs to get the Templar Key from their body. Like Julian du Casse, you also need to find others as part of their respective side quests.
Anto
You need to progress through the main story quests until you have cleared the “A Governor No Longer” main quest. Then, you will find a new marked quest at Kingston. Speak to Anto and help him save his friends as he plans an assassination against Kenneth Abraham. Grab the key from his corpse before making your escape.
Opia Apito
Upon reaching Cayman Sound at the given coordinates, you can speak to Opia Apito and aid her in her quest to assassinate Lucia Marquez. After that, you can steal the key from the Templar’s body. Your trek to find Opia Apito will be a treacherous one, as the area is filled with enemy ships waiting to attack you. Plan your strategy carefully and stock up on ammo while keeping your ship’s health in check before picking up this quest.
Rhona Dinsmore
You need to speak to Rhona Dinsmore inside the Assassin’s Bureau in Havana to get her quest. This quest is extremely combat-oriented, so get your best weapons in hand and prepare yourself for the worst. Help protect Rhona’s position at the Bureau while taking down enemies, before being led to the main Templar boss, Hilary Flint. Kill Flint and take the key off their body.
Upton Travers
You can pick this quest up very early in the game. Check your map to find a small marker inside an alley in Nassau, right beside a wooden house in the southern section of the island. You need to help Upton and Vance Travers settle their dispute over a map, and this quest chain will eventually lead you to the Queen of Pirates, Jing Lang. Killing her will give you the next Templar key.
How to Get the Templar Armor
Visit the Great Iguana again and head over to coordinates (827, 444), where the Damn Fine Gear side quest is. Enter the mansion and go through to the main area. Right beside the large table with the globe is a locked gate. Unlock the gate using the 5 keys to collect the Templar armor, along with the Templar Cross trinket, 10000 Reales, and 45 Bones.
The Templar armor is a Legendary light armor set that has the following description: A light and flexible armor taken off a long-dead Templar. The Templar Cross, on the other hand, reduces damage from all melee attacks when equipped. You can use it on your character or sell it for some coins.
