There are multiple endings in the game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered, which are largely dependent on the actions taken by the player throughout the game. These can affect the fate of Geralt, Ciri, and a large number of other characters in the game. Some of the endings can be influenced by choices made in dialogue, and some through completion of quests or failure to do so. Below, we have covered all the major endings and explained how you can get each one.
Ciri Endings
The options you make during the course of the game may give you various endings for Ciri. All these endings are mostly determined by your actions and decisions when dealing with her in important missions and taking her to see Emperor Emhyr.
Ciri the Witcher

Here, Ciri is transformed into a witcher and begins a new chapter of her life in the Witcher Path. Geralt informs Emperor Emhyr of the death of Ciri and goes back to the White Orchard Inn. In the inn, he presents Ciri with a new silver sword as she embarks upon a new life as a witcher. To obtain this ending, one needs to opt for the positive dialogue choices when dealing with Ciri during quests between Blood on the Battlefield and Child of the Elder Blood.
Ciri the Empress

Here, Ciri gets crowned as the Empress of Nilfgaard. She returns to her role as royalty and is ready to reign with the help of her father, Emperor Emhyr, and his advisers. To get this ending, always go for positive dialogue options with Ciri, but also bring her to meet Emperor Emhyr in Blood on the Battlefield.
Ciri Disappears

In the ending that is provided, Ciri does not return from her quest; she either dies or ends up in an alternate dimension on her own. In order to achieve this ending, the player needs to make sure he doesn’t choose any of the positive dialogue options required to achieve the Ciri endings.
Geralt Endings
Your choice in romance in The Witcher 3 will determine the fate of Geralt once the main story is finished, since you can end up with either Yennefer, Triss, or alone as a witcher.
Geralt and Yennefer

Geralt and Yennefer finally come together, and as a result, the duo gets tired of their adventurous lifestyle. They retire and find peace from the political and monstrous issues that made things difficult for them. In order to have this ending, you will have to confess your love for Yennefer in The Last Wish.
Geralt and Triss

In case Geralt decides to be with Triss, they will both have an opportunity to live a peaceful life. Geralt will semi-retire, while Triss will serve as the advisor to the King of Kovir. In order to achieve this ending, you need to confess your love to Triss in Now or Never.
Geralt Remains a Witcher
Should Geralt fail to settle down with either of the two women, he is going to keep on being a witcher. He remains solitary and keeps on accepting assignments, the final result indicating that he is going to be on the Path until he dies in the last battle, which he cannot win. This is the case when you do not choose to have a romantic relationship with Yennefer or Triss. It could also occur if you try to romance both of them.
Ruler of the Northern Realms Endings
The result of the war between Nilfgaard and the Northern Realms is determined by your actions in the quest Reason of State. There are three results depending on whether you help Dijkstra, Roche, or do not complete the quest.
Dijkstra Wins

Should you choose Dijkstra’s point of view, Dijkstra will betray the Temerians and take over the Northern Realms. He defeats Nilfgaard and becomes the ruler of the North with his own ideals for the region. To achieve this, you need to support Dijkstra in Reason of State.
Nilfgaard Wins

Roche’s victory leads to a win for Nilfgaard as King Radovid gets killed. The emperor, Emhyr, seizes power in the Northern Realms and agrees to give Temeria back due to the continuing guerrilla warfare. To get this ending, choose Roche in Reason of State.
Radovid Wins

If you do not finish Reason of State, then Radovid wins the war and becomes king. Radovid wins the war by causing brutal persecution among the Northern Realms, where non-humans, wizards, and those who differ from him are executed and burned alive. All you have to do is fail to finish Reason of State.
Skellige Ruler Endings
King’s Gambit depends on your decisions, which determine who will rule Skellige. Whoever you back, it is either going to be Cerys, Hjalmar or Svanrige as the new king.
Cerys Becomes Queen

Cerys, once she is crowned queen, will strive to bring stability to Skellige rather than engage in further acts of violence, as has been the practice for so many years before that. This can happen only if you play along with her in King’s Gambit.
Svanrige Becomes King

Should you decide not to help either Cerys or Hjalmar, it is finally Svanrige who claims the throne. He unites the clans and prepares Skellige for the Nilfgaard attack, reigning not by force but through wisdom. You will get this ending only if you do not assist Cerys and Hjalmar in King’s Gambit.
Hjalmar Becomes King

Should you choose to help Hjalmar, then you will make him the king of Skellige. And he will maintain the traditional warrior culture of the islands through raiding, fighting, and killing for many years. To obtain such an ending, you should support Hjalmar in King’s Gambit.
Hearts of Stone Endings
The Hearts of Stone expansion gives Geralt a final choice that decides what happens to Olgierd and Gaunter O’Dimm. Your decision during Whatsoever a Man Soweth… determines which ending you get.
Mirror Master Loses

In this ending, Geralt chooses to help Olgierd and manages to save him from Gaunter O’Dimm. Olgierd gets another chance at life, while Gaunter leaves after losing their wager. To get this ending, choose the dialog option to Help Olgierd during the quest.
Mirror Master Wins

If Geralt decides not to get involved, Gaunter O’Dimm claims Olgierd’s soul. Afterwards, he gives Geralt a powerful reward for staying out of the situation. To get this ending, choose Don’t get involved during the quest.
Blood and Wine Endings
The Blood and Wine expansion can have various endings based on how you play the final missions. The fate of Syanna, Anna Henrietta, and Geralt depends on your decisions while playing the mission, and the ending may vary from happy to disastrous for Toussaint.
Reconciliation

Here, Syanna and Anna Henrietta make peace and reconcile despite their differences, leading to a much more peaceful end for their story. With this end, it will become easier for Toussaint to progress. For this ending, it is necessary to locate Damien during The Night of Long Fangs and collect the ribbon from Little Flint Girl during Beyond Hill and Dale. It is also required to read all the diary entries and talk to Syanna before Damien in Pomp and Strange Circumstance.
Geralt Is Jailed

In this particular ending, Syanna dies, whereas Geralt is incarcerated in prison as a punishment. But he does not stay there for a long time and gets saved. To attain this ending, locate Damien in The Night of Long Fangs. Also, don’t pick the ribbon during the quest Beyond Hill and Dale.
Syanna and Anna Die

This is perhaps the saddest ending of all, because not only do Syanna and Anna Henrietta pass away, but it plunges Toussaint into a period of mourning and depression. To achieve this end, select the path of the Unseen Elder in the quest What Lies Unseen.
