The Fools is one of the last main storyline missions in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred and starts right after the quest One Eye Closes, One Eye Opens. In this quest, you leave The First Vault alongside Tyrael and set out to search for Lorath Nahr in the volcanic region of Skovos. Along the way, you will fight powerful enemies and find a tragic discovery that leads to a boss fight against Adreona, the Amazon Queen. In this guide, we will show you how to complete the Fools quest in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred.
The Fools Quest
The Fools is one of the main quests in Diablo 4. It starts in The First Vault, which can be found within the Skovos zone. Once Tyrael seals The First Vault after completing the quest above, The Fools begins automatically.
After Tyrael seals The First Vault, leave the vault and speak with him near the entrance to continue the quest. Afterwards, go to Lorath Nahr, who can be found to the east of your current location. You will have to head towards the marked point on your mini-map.
As you make your way there, expect to face off against several Molten enemies along the way. Try not to engage them directly and instead attempt to dodge their attacks. Upon reaching the objective point within Mount Hefaetrus East Face, search the ground to find Lorath’s Polearm. Interact with it, and a cutscene featuring Queen Adreona will begin.
Defeating Adreona
Once the cutscene ends, you will fight against the Amazon Queen Adreona as the final boss. Throughout the entire boss battle, magma rocks will continuously fall down in the arena. The safest spot to take cover is behind Tyrael, who will protect you from any falling debris as you concentrate on the boss itself. After defeating Adreona, check the corpse of Lorath Nahr and talk to Tyrael to complete The Fools.
