There are 18 campaign trophies available in the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, each with their own conditions to unlock. While some of these are quite simple, such as mission completion, some trophies can be harder and may require players to complete certain actions or find hidden items within the game.
The majority of trophies are missable, therefore it may be beneficial to know how to get them beforehand. In this guide, you will find all the campaign trophies and achievements, along with simple steps and tips to help you unlock them.
All Trophies and Achievements
There are 18 total trophies for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Two are earned by finishing the story mission, whereas the other 16 are earned by doing certain things in the missions. These trophies are missable; hence, ensure that you meet their conditions while playing the game.
In the case of the PS5 version, there is no Platinum Trophy since the game is played through the Call of Duty HQ rather than a standalone game. The trophies of the campaign in this game are listed as an add-on, which means that there is no Platinum Trophy here.
Hold the Line Trophy (Gold)
This trophy will be unlocked when you have finished all the campaign missions of COD MW4. This does not mean that you need to do it on Veteran or Realism; you can pick whatever difficulty level you want. It is recommended to select Recruit if you wish to make things easier for yourself in completing the campaign missions. Once you complete the campaign, the Hold the Line Gold trophy will unlock automatically.
Was It Worth It? Trophy (Gold)
You need to complete all of the campaign missions on Realism difficulty to be able to get this trophy. Playing the game on Recruit, Regular, Hardened, or Veteran will not count towards this trophy.
If Realism difficulty is locked, complete the game on some other difficulty level first to unlock it. After that, play again on Realism difficulty and finish the game to get the Was it worth it? Gold trophy.
Note: Realism is the hardest part about getting this trophy, so make sure you take your time while fighting and try to use cover as much as you can.
Skeet Shooting (Silver)

You can earn this trophy during the first campaign mission, Mayhem, at Netshin Park stadium in Hajin City, South Korea. Follow these steps to unlock it:
How to Get Skeet Shooting Trophy
- Progress through the mission until you reach the stadium field with your squad.
- When the enemy paratroopers begin dropping from the sky, immediately aim upward and start shooting.
- Focus on enemies who are still parachuting. You must kill them before they land on the ground.
- Keep looking around for more paratroopers and eliminate at least 10 before they touch the ground.
Tips for Unlocking the Trophy
- Play on Recruit difficulty: This makes the encounter easier to handle.
- Use controlled shots: Switch your rifle to semi-automatic fire if available to improve your accuracy and conserve ammunition.
- Aim quickly: Start shooting as soon as the paratroopers appear, since they do not stay in the air for long.
- Restart the checkpoint if needed: If you fail to kill 10 paratroopers, reload the last checkpoint and try again.
The trophy should unlock as soon as you kill your tenth paratrooper in mid-air. You do not need to finish the mission to earn it.
Can’t touch this (Gold)

To unlock it, you must defeat Makarov in the alley during the Out in the Cold mission without getting hit once while playing on Veteran difficulty or higher.
How to Get Can’t Touch This Trophy
Follow these steps to earn the trophy:

- Reach the alley fight: Progress through the campaign until you face Makarov in the alley during the Out in the Cold mission.
- Watch Makarov’s attacks: Pay close attention to his movements and be ready to block or parry when prompted.
- Counterattack at the right time: After successfully defending against his attacks, strike back when you have an opening. Follow the on-screen prompts to perform counters and takedowns.
- Avoid taking damage: You must defeat Makarov without getting hit at any point during the fight. If he lands a hit, restart the checkpoint and try again.
Tips for Unlocking the Trophy
- Learn the attack patterns: Watch for Makarov’s movements so you can react to his attacks quickly.
- Don’t rush your attacks: Focus on defending first and only counter when you have a clear opening.
- Use the checkpoint: If you take damage, reload the checkpoint and repeat the fight.
Once you defeat Makarov without taking a single hit on Veteran difficulty or higher, the Can’t Touch This Gold trophy will unlock.

- Throw bottles at the guards: Aim at each enemy and throw a bottle to make them drop their weapon and approach you.
- Use melee attacks: Once an enemy is disarmed, defeat them with punches or a takedown. Repeat this process for all five guards.
- Avoid firing your gun: Do not shoot at any point during the kitchen encounter, as doing so can ruin your attempt.
Tips for Unlocking the Trophy
- Use bottles to stay safe: Disarming enemies before engaging them in melee makes the fight easier.
- Use cover: Hide behind the kitchen shelves and counters to avoid incoming gunfire while preparing your next attack.
- Lure enemies out one at a time: If several guards are attacking you, try to draw a disarmed enemy into the hallway and take them down there.
- Restart if you fire accidentally: Reload the last checkpoint and repeat the encounter without shooting.
Once you defeat all five kitchen enemies without firing your gun, the Safety’s On Gold trophy should unlock.
No Stone Unturned (Silver)

Alternatively, you can also use your gun to break the lock. Inside the box, you will find the Note from Your Friend and heart medicine.

The first room is accessed by taking the first door on your left after entering through the main door of the house. In this room, open the cabinet to find the MP3 player.
Western Novel (Contraband)

While you are still in the first house, open the second door on your left. Search the cabinets in that room for the Western Novel.
Baekseolgi-Tteok Recipe (Note)

Then, move back to the living room and reach the kitchen where the kettle will be boiling. There will be a hatch that leads to the hideout. Open the hatch and take the civilian out of it. You can accomplish this task either by capturing her twice, talking to her through dialogue, or threatening her. After she leaves, retrieve Note From Mom from the hideout.
No Harm Done (Silver)

To earn the No Harm Done achievement in Following Orders is to collect all contraband objects in the first house. While collecting the contrabands, the woman and you will have a conversation. During that time, pick the options that tell her to join her husband in the hallway. After that, you will get the chance to talk to the male civilian to get the required information out of him.
