Focus Below the Stone Circle is one of the quests involving Focus Stones in Gothic 1 Remake. In this quest, you will have to join forces with Diego to find the entrance to the old crypt located below a strange stone circle near the southwestern part of the Old Camp. Focus Below The Stone Circle Quest
In order to start this journey, travel to the marked spot found on the southwestern side of the Old Camp. You will meet up with Diego when you get to the Stone Circle; talk to him and see the cutscene that plays, after which follow him towards the entrance.
On the way there, you will face numerous enemies who need to be defeated before reaching the area where four stone pillars are placed. Get a torch, use it, and light up all four stone pillars. Once the fourth one is lit, some skeletons will spawn; defeat those and watch the next scene featuring Diego; once it ends, go into the crypt below.
Defeating The Skeletons
In the crypt, expect to find more skeletons and a very strong zombie. The skeletons are not a problem, but the zombie cannot be injured by regular attacks. The key to defeating this enemy is using a bow and targeting three glowing blue targets located around the room. Attack each one, and Diego should be busy distracting the zombie in the meantime. With all targets attacked, there will be a big lightning strike hitting the centre of the room.
Bring the zombie near the centre where the lightning attack takes place. The strike will deal damage to the zombie’s health. Continue repeating this tactic until you have defeated the zombie.
Following its death, the Focus Stone will be at the centre of the room. Take the stone and kill the other enemies. Leave the crypt once you are done there. Speak to Diego outside the crypt to watch the last cutscene. Next, head to the New Camp and speak with Saturas to give him the Focus Stone.
