One of the quests that you will get at the Swamp Camp is Swampweed Harvest. In this quest, your job will be to collect swampweed from the harvesters Balor and Viran and then hand it over to Cor Kalom. Your job of collecting Balor’s swampweed will be an easy task; however, Viran will give you his only after killing some Bloodflies. This guide will show you where to find each character, how to deal with the Bloodflies, and how to complete the quest.
Swampweed Harvest Quest
You will find Baal Orun next to the huge fallen tree that serves as a bridge, quite close to the mashers. When you meet with Balor, start talking with him and take the swampweed he provides. However, before going away, Balor will give instructions to collect Viran’s portion too.
Viran is found in the east part of the Swamp Camp, quite close to the Barrier and beach areas. You have to look for a wooden watchtower with two climbing ladders, since Viran will wait there for you. Talk with Viran and tell him that Baal Orun instructed you to fetch the swampweed. However, Viran will not give it to you instantly; first, he will ask you to kill some Bloodflies disturbing his harvest process.
Finding Bloodflies
This should ideally be done during the day because the area gets quite dark at night, thus making it difficult for you to see your enemies. With the help of a bow, you will be able to take out the Bloodflies. The first pack of Bloodflies can be found over the wooden bridge that is straight ahead of Viran’s tower.
The second pack of Bloodflies can be found after going to the left side of Viran’s tower. You have to be very cautious while moving around the water, considering there are Swampsharks around the area. The last pack of Bloodflies can be found on the beach next to the Barrier. All you have to do is go to the right side of Viran’s tower.
After taking out all the Bloodflies, approach Viran once again to receive the swampweed as a reward for your help. Finally, visit Cor Kalom after collecting both parts of the swampweed. Hand over the swampweed to complete the quest.
