In the Los Angeles level of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, there’s a challenge called “Stop the Car Chase.” To complete it, you will first need to trigger an earthquake, which shakes up the level and opens new areas. Once that’s done, you’ll use your skating skills to reach the broken freeway and stop a high-speed police chase. Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you complete it.
Stop The Car Chase in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Los Angeles
Los Angeles is the second level in the THPS3 Skate Tour of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4. It takes place in a city plaza surrounded by tall skyscrapers, with plenty of staircases, rails, and ledges for grinding and pulling off tricks.
For this one, you just need to grind on 4 handrails that are placed around the tower near the starting point of the level. From where you start on the Los Angeles level, turn left and grind the first red rail going downhill. After that, take a right and follow the road, and you will see the second red rail running along the side. Grind that too.
Then turn right again and grind the third red rail going up the slope. Finally, keep skating forward and grind the fourth red rail that cuts through a building. Once you have hit all four, a cutscene will play showing an earthquake hitting Los Angeles.
Make sure you have already done the ‘Start the Earthquake’ goal before trying this one. Then, just like before, use the Car Wash roof to get up onto the broken freeway. On the left side, you will see a wrecked car hanging off the edge. Grind on it to make it fall onto the road below and stop the police car chase.
