To open it, you need to explore the lab area, collect a few important items, and find the document that shows the safe combination. Sterilisation Chamber Safe Code

Go to the left side corridor and move around the corner. Follow the hallway until you reach the Chemical Storage area. Once you reach Chemical Storage, go all the way to the end of the room. Here you will find the Override Key. After escaping Chemical Storage. Go back to the Lab Entrance, save room and from there, return the same way.

Go down the stairs until you reach the Dump Control Room. Inside this room, use the Override Key on the control panel. This unlocks a container where you can pick up the Magnetic Keycard. Now return to the Lab Entrance and use the Magnetic Keycard on the main locked door to open it and enter the next section of the facility.

Once inside, turn left and continue moving forward through the hallway. While moving through this area, you will reach a location with enemies that rely on sound. Look for a document that reveals the safe combination for the Sterilisation Chamber. On Normal difficulty, the safe code is:

Once you reach the Sterilisation Chamber, interact with the safe and enter the code. Confirm the code, and the safe will open. Opening the safe gives you useful items like Med Injector, Handgun Ammo and Molotov Cocktail.
