If you’re running low on Hallowed Bars in Palworld 1.0, this farming method is one of the fastest and easiest ways to stock up. Some of the best weapons and armours based on Terraria can only be crafted using Hallowed Bars, which means you will require quite a lot of them. The setup may take some time, but it works very efficiently after it’s done. In this guide, we’ll show you how to set up the farm and maximise the number of Hallowed Bars you can earn.
How To Farm Hallowed Bars

Go to the Sealed Realm of Terraria dungeon. If you have a Yakumo with the Lavish Hospitality and Service-Minded passive skills, bring it along. These passives may enhance your yield, but the method works perfectly fine even without them. However, if you don’t have a Yakumo, all you need is to catch 1 male and 1 female Terraria Pal. Any Terraria Pal works because they can breed with the Eye of Cthulhu.
Reach The Eye Of Cthulhu

Make your way through the dungeon using this route:
- Go through the first tunnel.
- In the first room, turn left.
- In the second room, turn right.
- At the fork, take the right path.
- In the mushroom cave, turn left.
- Drop down to the lower area.
- Break through the hidden wall with a Plasma Multi Cutter or another mining tool.
- Continue forward and break another wall.
- You’ll eventually reach the Eye of Cthulhu boss.
Catch the Eye of Cthulhu before leaving the dungeon. While you’re there, open the nearby chests and grab the Celestial Sigil Schematic if you want to summon the Moon Lord later.
Prepare Your Breeding Pair

Return to your base and place these Pals in your party:
- Eye of Cthulhu
- Any Terraria Pal of the opposite gender
Use the Pal Surgery Table to give the Philanthropist passive to both Pals. For those aiming for Lavish Hospitality, breed them until you get two Eye of Cthulhus having the Philanthropist passive each. This can be followed by adding the Philanthropist passive to the new Pals after you’re done. Place them in the Breeding Farm once you’re satisfied with the passives they have. The Eye of Cthulhu being a nocturnal mob, it will continue breeding during the night regardless of not having the Nocturnal passive.
Catch The Support Pals

To increase the number and quality of eggs, you’ll also need:
- Broncherry – offers the opportunity for eggs to become Alpha Eggs.
- Broncherry Aqua – adds to the effect of Broncherry, giving a higher chance to make eggs Alpha Eggs.
- Grintail – gives you a chance to obtain an additional egg whenever you collect one.
Keep all three in your party while collecting eggs. Don’t forget to craft their saddles to use them and activate their skills. The Partner Skills from Broncherry and Grintail only activate when you manually collect the eggs. Two Pals of the same species don’t stack, but Broncherry and Broncherry Aqua count as different species, so their effects work together. If you fully condense them:
- Broncherry and Broncherry Aqua can reach a 100% Alpha Egg chance.
- Grintail increases the extra egg chance from 50% to 75%.
To speed up breeding even more:
- Use Vegetable Cakes, which produce double eggs.
- Add Braloha to your base.
- Assign a Pal with the Babysitter passive.
Collect And Hatch The Eggs

When collecting eggs with the support Pals in your party, you’ll notice messages showing that:
- Some eggs become Alpha Eggs.
- You’ll often receive extra eggs from Grintail.
Hatch all the eggs when they are ready. An Alpha Eye of Cthulhu will drop approximately 20 to 30 Hallowed Bars, but with the presence of a passive skill called Lavish Hospitality, those drops are doubled. To get more Hallowed Bars, you can summon an Eye of Cthulhu via Splatterina and cut it down for some additional drops, or simply put your Pals on a conveyor belt.
