The For Whom the Bells Tolls quest is among the early missions in the main story of Mistfall Hunter, in which you will have to beat the formidable Elite Greataxe Berserker. This particular boss may seem intimidating if you are not properly prepared for it, but it is entirely doable. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the Elite Berserker, the best way to beat it, and a few useful tips to help you complete the quest.
How To Complete The For Whom The Bells Tolls Quest

In the For Whom the Bells Tolls main quest, you will have to defeat the Elite Berserker boss. While the fight can be challenging, it’s completely possible to beat the boss solo, even with basic gear. Here’s everything you need to know.
Elite Greataxe Berserker Boss Fight

When entering the match, check the map for the red icon indicating the boss. It is worth noting that the Elite Berserker does not spawn at one and the same spot; therefore, you need to check it on the map among all the other red icons. Make the boss location your waypoint and proceed to it. You can defeat the boss in your starting outfit, but it would be best to have a few extra healing potions.
Stay Inside The Boss Arena
Once you are in the boss arena, it is important that you remain within the ring for the entire battle, since leaving the room or the boss following anyone who leaves will reset the fight and restore all of its health. However, if you are fighting in a party of three, one person may step outside temporarily without resetting the fight.
Use Melee Instead Of Magic
Though it may appear that ranged magic spells might be safe and effective, in reality, they do not prove to be very efficient in this regard because of their low damage rate and the need for time to charge them, which makes it hard to attack without getting attacked by the boss. Thus, a melee weapon is far more preferable for dealing with the Elite Berserker. Every attack with the melee weapon does consistent damage, and you can attack more often as there is no need to wait for the ability to recharge.
Boss Fight Tips
This boss has a really strong attack, so make sure not to rush into battle and wait for him to attack first, then dodge his attack and proceed to hit him a couple of times before pulling back again. Playing alone, this boss fight may take up a couple of minutes, so concentrate on staying alive rather than dealing massive damage to the boss.
Remember that if you are playing alone and you are knocked down, reviving yourself will reset the fight since the game considers it an exit from the arena. This means that you will have to fight him from the beginning and at full health.
Once the boss is defeated, loot the body to get the Bell, thus finishing the For Whom the Bells Tolls quest and proceeding to the main quest line.
