Dragonsplague is a deadly sickness that can infect you when playing Dragon’s Dogma 2, and if you don’t treat yourself in time, it will lead your Pawn to attack NPCs whenever he stays at an inn. But luckily, there are potions for curing Dragonsplague. In this guide, we’ll explain how to cure Dragonsplague and prevent it from causing trouble in your game.
How To Cure Dragonsplague

Dragonsplague is a deadly condition that targets Pawns in Dragon’s Dogma 2. An infected Pawn will exhibit red glowing eyes, unusual behaviour, disobeying orders, and abnormal speech. Failure to handle the infection could lead to a catastrophe if you take rest in a hotel since it would kill all NPCs in that particular settlement.
Luckily, the Dragonsbaulk Draught offers a solution for curing this infection. It is a new feature introduced in an update to the game, and thus players no longer have to depend only on old-fashioned ways like dismissing or killing their Main Pawn.
How To Cure Dragonsplague Using Dragonsbaulk Draught

To cure Dragonsplague, get Dragonsbaulk Draught and apply it to the Pawn that has the disease. This potion is designed to remove Dragonsplague from the afflicted Pawn, and hence is the simplest way to cure the disease. It can be bought in Ibrahim’s Scrap Store in Checkpoint Rest Town for 10,000 Gold. However, you may wish to make it out of its ingredients.
To craft the potion, you will require Wyrmslife Crystal and an Allheal Elixir. Wyrmslife Crystals drop from Drakes found around Northern Harve Ruins. While fighting Drakes, there is a chance that they will drop Allheal Elixirs too. If you don’t get it here, you can visit Eldart’s Apothecary and purchase it for 10K G, or spend 5 Norgan Ducats at the Norganian Inn. Once you have all the items, just craft the Dragonsbaulk Draught at the crafting menu and use it on your infected Pawn.
When applying the potion, check whether your party has any infection. Be wary of red glowing eyes, strange dialogue, and Pawns not obeying your orders. Do this before taking a rest at the Inn to prevent the disaster.
Alternative Ways To Cure Dragonsplague
If you do not have a Dragonsbaulk Draught, you can still deal with the infection using the traditional methods.
Dismiss an Infected Hired Pawn
In case you hire a Pawn that may have Dragonsplague, dismiss him right away. Doing so eliminates the infected Pawn from your party and lessens the chances of the infection spreading to other members of your party. But you cannot do so with your Main Pawn.
Let Your Main Pawn Die
In case your Main Pawn gets Dragonsplague infection, and you have no access to the potion, you can either kill him or drop him into deep water, where the Brine will eat them. Afterwards, bring them back to life with the help of the Riftstone. Thus, you will be rid of Dragonsplague in your Main Pawn. This solution works in case you have no required materials or Gold.
How To Prevent Dragonsplague
Watch out for the state of your Pawns along your journey, especially when you have recruited some more party members. Look for any odd behaviour, such as glowing red eyes and strange dialogue options. In case you spot an infection, deal with it before stopping over at any inns.
Keep a Dragonsbaulk Draught available whenever possible so you can treat an infected Pawn without sacrificing them. Regularly checking your party and acting quickly will help protect important NPCs and prevent the infection from disrupting your progress.
