KCD2 All Treasure Map Locations

Treasure hunting in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 provides players with an exciting means of discovering hidden loot, rare treasures, and precious gold hidden around the game world. These treasure maps, obtained in a variety of ways, such as buying from merchants, plundering bandits, or finding secret chests, lead players to hidden areas indicated by important landmarks such as trees, ruins, caves, and ponds. But discovering these riches isn’t always straightforward, since some locations are protected by bandits, and most chests involve lockpicking to open. This guide takes a close look at all the treasure map locations, allowing you to find every secret stash and reap your rightful rewards.

All Treasure Map Locations

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you will find treasures scattered across the Trosky and Kuttenberg regions. Most are tucked away in locked chests of different difficulty levels, while others are cleverly hidden in bags. Below are all the locations of the treasure.

Trosky Region Treasure Maps

The Trosky Region in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 harbors some hidden treasures that can be uncovered. Treasure maps are used by players to find valuable loot, gold, and rare items that are hidden all over the region. These maps can be acquired from quests, bought from NPCs, or obtained by looting enemies. But treasure hunting is not always easy, some places are patrolled by bandits, and some chests need lockpicking skills to open.

Water Goblin’s Treasure Location (Drowner’s Map)

The treasure map is easy to overlook because it’s hidden in a spot most players wouldn’t think to check. You can find it on a pier near the bridge to the left of the Nomad’s Camp, tucked inside a black bag. Many adventurers have tried to uncover the Water Goblin’s treasure, but none have succeeded. The map you’ll find once belonged to one of those unlucky hunters who met a grim fate in their pursuit. To get it, you’ll need to loot the body of a drowned treasure hunter.

Water Goblin’s Treasure Location

Head towards the lower areas near the water instead of the hill, and you’ll have a much better chance of uncovering the long-lost treasure of the Water Goblin.

The Water Goblin’s Treasure is actually hidden in the depths of the lake right next to the hill, specifically in the southern part of Rocktower Pond. An easier way to get there is by heading west from Zeheljov and following the path that leads to Bhozhena’s Shack near the shore.

Once the path ends, dismount your horse and continue on foot, even if it looks like there’s no clear trail, that’s intentional. Stay close to the shore, and soon you’ll spot a clay pot on the left bank of the river, which holds the treasure. Inside, you’ll find 125 Groschen, not a huge fortune, but still a decent reward. If you’re up for more, you can also find the Goblins on the other side of the pond.

Map of Caught Thief’s Treasure

You can obtain the Caught Thief’s Map from Black Bartosch, a knight from Prague who is loyal to Otto von Bergow. He becomes available after you complete the main quest Back in the Saddle. After unlocking, you can talk to him at Trosky Castle’s combat arena, where he instructs students in different styles of fighting. To obtain the map, you have to fight him in a duel inside the arena. Nevertheless, if you would like a different solution, you can buy the map for 250 Groschen or even steal it, but theft might damage your KCD 2 reputation.

If you don’t obtain the map right away, don’t worry, Black Bartosch remains in the game even after you complete the main storyline. Once you have the map, examine it to discover the treasure’s location. Your journey begins in Trosky, within the Kuttenberg Region. From there, travel southeast toward Nebakov, where you’ll spot a small building at the top of the area.

Caught Thief’s Camp Location

Travel east of the Thief’s Camp but be ready to fight. The area is under guard by a bandit, so be heavily armed before proceeding. After killing him, proceed into the camp and look for a locked chest. You must pick the lock to enter it, so possessing lockpicking skills or carrying lockpicks is a requirement.

Inside the chest, you’ll find several valuable items, including an Engraved Gemstone Ring, a Weak Marigold Decoction, four pieces of Frankfurt Steel, two Bandages, and 328 Groschen. With these rewards in hand, your efforts will have been well worth it!

Vidlak Bandit’s Treasure Map

To obtain the Vidlak Bandit’s Map in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, start the Lackey side quest, one of the early missions in the game. During this quest, Huntsman Vostotek tasks you with rescuing his stolen horse from poachers northeast of Vidlak Pond. Once you defeat the bandits, loot their bodies to find the Vidlak Bandit’s Map, along with the Bandit’s Key.

When examining the map, you’ll notice that the positions of the bandit camp and Vidlak Pond seem incorrect. However, if you interpret the map as upside down, the locations align correctly. Using this perspective, you’ll find that the marked tree is actually north of the pond and west of the bandit camp. Travel to the crossroads of a stream, where you’ll discover a hollow tree, though it has been knocked down.

Vidlak Bandit’s Camp Location

Search near the base of the tree, and you’ll come across a silver cup and a tin plate. However, Henry will quickly realize that this can’t be the entire treasure, he’s right, as most of it has been washed away. To find the rest, follow the river south toward the larger part of the pond and search near the reeds. Hidden among them, you’ll discover the Washed-up Chest. Use the Bandit’s Key you looted earlier to unlock it and claim your well-earned rewards. Inside, you’ll find 300 Groschen, a silver cup, two tin plates, and the highly valuable golden crucifix.

First Treasure Map Location

The Cave in Apollonia is the first treasure map location, situated in a rocky area east of the starting region. To find it, take the north road from Trosky Castle, travel east through the trees, and then head south into Apollonia. Along this route, you’ll spot a cave on the right side of the road. Enter the cave and climb the ladder until you reach a room with a locked chest in the center.

The key to unlock it is located below Trosky, where you’ll find a cracked skull on a sack resting on a ledge at the end of the room. Inside the chest, you’ll find 200 Groschen, two Frankfurt Steel for blacksmithing, and other valuable items. Keep in mind that this cave is close to Marika’s location in the Miri Fatja quest.

Second Treasure Map Location

The Skeleton with Treasure is the second map location, found in a ravine north of Rocktower Pond. To reach it, head west of the first region’s lake where you set up camp. The treasure is located on top of a rock, requiring you to descend from above.

Start by climbing the pinnacle at the center of the area, then carefully descend until you reach the first fallen tree. From there, move west along the ravine’s edge and continue south until you spot a rock with a skeleton beside it. Be sure to drink Saviour Schnapps, as getting there might take a few tries.

Next to the skeleton, you’ll find a bag containing two silver rings, a Coin Sword Pommel, a Golden Cup, a Silver Chalice, and 183 Groschen. To finish, drop down carefully, you’ll take minor damage, and next to the skeleton, you’ll find another sack with jewelry, 180 Groschen, a golden cup, and a silver chalice.

Map of Hired Hand Ventza’s Treasure

You can get this map location from Hired Hand Ventza during the Juant quest. To find him, head to the “Catch the Hired Hand” point of interest and be prepared for a fight, make sure you’re equipped with your best weapon to defeat him. Once he’s taken down, move towards the tunnel in the cliffs, where you’ll easily spot a hidden stash. Inside, you’ll find valuable items, including a Hunting Crossbow, Fine Bolt, Strong Bowman’s Brew, and a Marksman’s Kit.

Kuttenberg region Treasure Maps

The Kuttenberg Region in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is also full of hidden treasures stashed away, waiting to be uncovered. Treasure maps allow the player to find secret stashes that contain gold, exotic gear, and valuable commodities.

The maps can be taken from foes, purchased from NPCs, or discovered in hidden places throughout the region. It’s not necessarily a straightforward trip to the treasure, though, since some areas are guarded by enemies and others require lockpicking or exploration skills.

Third Treasure Map Location

The Kuttenberg Underground, located near the entrance to Kuttenberg in the game’s second region, is the third treasure map location. To find it, look for a ruined house by the road and head inside. Your goal is to locate the entrance to the underground tunnels. Once inside, move toward the first archway and take a left.

As you explore further, you’ll notice the cave splits into two paths, follow the water to the right and continue until you reach a junction. At this point, take the right pathway, which will lead you to a pile of rubble hiding the treasure.

To confirm you’re in the right spot, look for a circle and dots marker on a wooden pillar nearby. Once you locate the treasure, you’ll be rewarded with a Scapular with Aperture, The Strength of the Knight III book, and 210 Groschen.

Fourth Treasure Map Location

The final treasure location is near Millstone Quarry, situated south of Bylany in the southeastern Kuttenberg region. To reach it, start from Bylany, which lies southeast of Miskowitz and southwest of Kuttenberg. Travel south from Bylany, crossing through the forest and river, then follow the road south until you arrive at the quarry. Look for millstone markers on your map, these appear as circular white stones with a hole in the center.

Once you spot the millstone markers, follow the southeastern track before turning right up a stream. Continue left until you reach a fallen tree. Just beyond it, you’ll find a millstone and a chest containing a Saxon Kettle Hat, Gemstone Silver Ring, Skullcrushers III book, and 125 Groschen.

Sedletz Chest Map Location

You can find this map near a hidden ladder along the outer wall of Sedletz Monastery. The map points to a pond with a large tree near the monastery, with a small building beyond it. To reach the location, cross the pond and head towards the building, which is marked as “Love Nest” on the region map. Inside a locked chest, you’ll discover several food items, a silver cup, and the skill book “The Art of Demosthenes 3.”

Map of Smuggler’s Atash

You can find this map on the body of a smuggler in the tunnels beneath Kuttenberg. It points to a town west of Kuttenberg, located between Grund and Miskowitz, with farmlands and three smaller buildings to the west of the town. The key location to focus on is the “Locked Dugout,” the farthest building in the area. To access the smugglers’ stash, you’ll need to unlock the dugout door.

Map of Krizhan’s Treasure

Talk to the Innkeeper at the tavern south of Pschitoky, who serves as a quest tipster. Then, head to Krizhan in Pschitoky to obtain the map and start the “X Marks the Spot” side quest. If you can’t convince him to hand it over, you can pay him instead. After examining the map, follow it to your destination and enter the cave near the bandit camp. Inside, dig up three marked spots, but you won’t find any treasure. With nothing to show for your efforts, return to Krizhan to complete the quest.

Map of Bohuta’s Treasure

You can obtain Bohuta’s Treasure Map from Bohuta during “The Devil’s Pack” main quest. To get it, go to the “Say a Prayer with Bohuta” objective and speak with him. If you have enough pickpocketing skills, you can steal the map from him. Once you have it, follow the map to the treasure location southwest of Pschitoky, then dig up the spot.

Tips

  • Some treasure maps can be bought from innkeepers or traders, while others must be looted from bandits, found in hidden chests, or obtained through special quests. Always check vendors and defeated enemies for potential maps.
  • Maps may not always be precise, so pay attention to key landmarks like trees, ruins, ponds, or caves to help you pinpoint the exact treasure location.
  • Some treasure locations are guarded by bandits. Before setting off, equip good armor and weapons to handle any unexpected fights.
  • Many treasure chests require high-level lockpicking to open. Practice lockpicking on easier chests first, or carry lockpicks and Saviour Schnapps to retry if needed.
  • To avoid losing progress due to ambushes or failed lockpicking attempts, save your game before you start digging or attempting to open a chest.
  • Some treasures may require a shovel to dig up. Make sure you carry one with you or buy one from a merchant before heading out.
  • Some maps can be misleading or drawn poorly, making locations seem farther or closer than they actually are. If a spot doesn’t match the map, try flipping the perspective or looking in nearby areas.
  • Some treasure stashes aren’t immediately visible. Look for hollow trees, cracks in walls, or hidden tunnels where loot might be stored.
  • Some treasure locations require you to climb, swim, or navigate tricky terrain. Use a horse for faster travel, and be mindful of fall damage when descending cliffs.
  • If you don’t find the treasure right away, don’t rush. Slowly scan the area and check behind rocks, under fallen trees, or near water sources where treasure might be hidden.
