In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, after clearing up the case of mistaken identity with Hans Capon, you’ll gain access to Trosky Castle. The Chamberlain will then task you with a rather unusual job: exorcising demons from the fort. While the “demons” seem suspiciously like regular vermin, the staff are convinced of their supernatural origins and ask you to bless ten fireplaces scattered throughout the castle as a cleansing ritual. Trosky can be a confusing place to navigate, so this guide will walk you through the location of each fireplace, making your demon-hunting (or rodent-repelling) much easier.
All Fireplace Locations in Demons of Trosky
After you resolve the mix-up with Hans and your identity in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, you’re free to roam around Trosky fort. Chatting with the Chamberlin will trigger a quest that sends you on a tour of the entire fort. The fort’s inhabitants attribute their recent troubles to demons, though it sounds more like the usual antics of rodents. Regardless, they’ll ask you to bless ten fireplaces scattered throughout the fort. Since Trosky can be a bit confusing, this guide will help you locate all the fireplaces.
Crone Fireplace Locations in Demons of Trosky

First Fireplace: You’ll find the first fireplace right next to Bertha. Walk up to it until you see the “Sprinkle” prompt. Wait for Henry to finish his thing, then move on.
Second Fireplace: Go upstairs from the kitchen. Turn left and look along the wall. You’ll find a door; open it. The fireplace is on the left side of that room. Remember this room—it’s the one you’ll use to get to the Maiden side of the castle later.
Third Fireplace: This one might trigger some “restricted zone” warnings, so be careful. Go up two flights of stairs from the second fireplace (so you’re on the third floor). Turn left and open the door to the Scribe’s study. The third fireplace is in there.
Fourth and Fifth Fireplaces: These are a bit trickier. From the Scribe’s room, go up into the attic. Follow the wooden stairs until you see a brown door. This leads to the Alchemy lab where you find Katherine. Don’t go straight into the lab. Instead, look to the left in the small hallway and go up the stairs into the two restricted zones. Doing this during the day can be tough, but if you’re quick, you should be okay. There are guards patrolling here.
Sometimes they get stuck near stairs or doors. If that happens, “Exit Save” and reload the game to reset their patrol routes. The fourth fireplace is one floor above, right by the stairs. Sprinkle it, then go into the farthest room in the restricted zone to find the fifth and final fireplace (on the Crone side). Alternatively, you could try finding Hans Capon and following him back to his room while he’s going to bed. That might get you past the guard without a restricted area warning.

Fireplace 6: From the last fireplace on the Crone side, go back to the room connecting to the bridge between the castle sides (where you found the second fireplace). Cross the wooden bridge to the other side. At the end, you’ll find a door leading back to Ulrich’s usual spot. The fireplace is right in front of him.
Fireplace 7: Open the door directly next to the sixth fireplace. The seventh fireplace is in the next room.
Fireplace 8: Go down one floor to the kitchen (where Manyeta is). This is where you’ll find the eighth fireplace. Sprinkle the holy water here.
Fireplaces 9 & 10: These are in restricted areas upstairs.
- Return to the room with the seventh fireplace and take the stairs up. You’ll find a door. This area is restricted during the day, so you might need to come back at night to access the ninth fireplace.
- In the opposite direction, you’ll find the Maiden’s Quarters. Sneak inside and carefully search for the tenth and final fireplace. Sprinkle the water and leave quietly to avoid upsetting anyone.
