How To Upgrade the Workbench in Windrose

Upgrading your Workbench in Windrose is important if you want to craft better tools and unlock more useful items. As you progress, the basic Workbench won’t be enough, so upgrading it becomes necessary to keep moving forward. The process is very simple and doesn’t take much time once you know what to do. In this guide, we will show you how to upgrade your Workbench and where to get the materials you need.

    How to Upgrade the Workbench

The Workbench is one of the most important stations in the game. It lets you craft tools and a variety of useful items to help you progress. You can create basic items without placing the Workbench near the bonfire. Making this building requires less effort because you need only 5 Wood.

If you want to upgrade the Workbench, then you should build a Sawhorse at this place. The Sawhorse is considered an upgrade station for the Workbench. However, you should be aware of the fact that the Sawhorse can function properly only if it is situated near the bonfire. You will require 20 Wood and 10 Copper Ingots for crafting this station.

How to Get Copper Ingots and Wood

Copper Ingots are among the first useful things you will need once you reach the island of Windrose, as you will have to upgrade your gear at some point.

They can be collected by smelting Copper Ore with the use of a Smelting Furnace. The process is very easy; you just need to add 4 Copper Ore and 1 piece of Charcoal into the furnace and wait for a while. It shouldn’t take more than half a minute before you get the item.

These ingots are used in a lot of early upgrades, so it’s a good idea to keep making them whenever you have extra materials. Getting wood is as simple as it gets. Just equip your axe and start chopping down trees. You will find plenty of them all over the island, so you won’t run out anytime soon.
