The new goose companions are a new addition to Where Winds Meet. You can unlock all three by completing a few companion quests and challenges. Each goose has its own objective, but the objectives are very easy to complete. How To Unlock New Goose Companion Pets (Inkwell, Goldie & Gusty Challenges)
To unlock the Goose Companion, you need to complete their Companion quests. Open the Escape Menu, then go to Companions. Select the second companion tab and then accept the Honking Havoc Exploration Quest. Your first objective is to investigate the suspicious merchant. During the quest, you will need to use your Meridian Touch to stop the merchant.
Inkwell Goose
After the cutscene, you will be asked to find a Scholar Goose. Follow the quest marker until you find it. Once you reach the Goose, you will start a debate instead of a normal fight. During the debate, use your available dialogue skills and keep countering the goose until you win.
After defeating it in the battle, the goose will agree to follow you. Escort the goose back to Heaven’s Pier and complete the next conversation. This finishes the first part of the quest and unlocks the Inkwell Goose companion.
Go to the Verden Toast and open the Companions Menu. Select Verden Toast and press ‘F’ to create a room. This is a small drinking minigame. You need to keep drinking until the progress bar is full. Once the activity is completed, the Honking Havoc quest will end.
Goldie and Gusty
To unlock Goldie and Gusty, you will need a Deed of Fellowship. You can buy this from the Companion Shop using Fluffball. After purchasing a Deed of Fellowship, accept Goldie’s and Gusty’s companion challenge and complete the quest’s objectives. After finishing all the companion quests, you will unlock Goldie and Gusty as your companions.
To find Goldie, go towards the Well of Heaven Disciple. Then use your Meridian Touch to steal the disciple’s purse towards Goldie. This will allow the disciples to think that Goldie has taken their purse. So immobilise Goldie, and it will be unlocked as your companion.
To find Gusty, go towards the wine jars, north of the Moonviel Mountains. When you reach the area, you will find that Gusty has fallen inside a wine jar. Gusty has become angry and is attacking everyone. So attack the goose and defeat it to unlock it as your companion.
