How to Unlock Free Roam in Mindseye

Mindseye offers an exciting Free Roam mode that lets you explore beyond the main story, but it isn’t available right away. Many players wonder how to unlock this feature and what exactly they can do once they get access. In this guide, we will walk you through the exact steps to unlock Free Roam and give you a quick overview of the activities, missions, and limitations you will encounter while exploring the open world.

    How To Unlock Free Roam

To unlock Free Roam, first, you will need to play for at least 6 hours into the campaign, then the free roam will unlock automatically. You will unlock the free roam as you play further into the main story.

After unlocking it, you can access free roam anytime by opening your start menu and selecting “Play.” Inside, you will see several things you can do; there are mini-games, races, small raids, and other solo missions you can try. Once you hit that 6-7 hour mark in the campaign, free roam opens up.

What You Can Do In Free Roam

When you first enter free roam, you get a safe house, a car, and some objectives. Throughout free roam, you will find other missions too, some involve fighting enemies and collecting weapons to upgrade your arsenal. However, you also can’t steal cars off the street or enter most buildings, which makes free roam feel a bit limited.

Some special icons on the map even give you stronger weapons. There are mercenary missions you can take on, too. You meet NPCs, accept their quests, and get sent on little side missions, like infiltrating enemy bases. Remember, right now, doing the side missions doesn’t really reward you with money, XP, or anything useful. You just complete them and move on.
