One of the most useful base upgrades that you can get in Subnautica 2 early on is the Battery Terminal. The Battery Terminal allows you to recharge your batteries without having to craft any more Basic Batteries. It makes your exploration much easier because you don’t have to use as much copper to craft more batteries. In this guide, we will show you where to find both fragments and how to build the Battery Terminal in your base.
How To Unlock Battery Terminal
Battery Terminal is very helpful for players because of its ability to recharge empty batteries without having to create Basic Batteries each time you run out of energy. To be able to craft it, scan two Battery Terminal fragments. They can be found inside Old Habitat.
Crafting this Base Module is quite an easy process. First of all, acquire all the necessary materials. In order to craft Battery Terminal, you need 2 Titanium, 2 Quartz, and 1 Copper Wire. All collected materials should be put inside your Habitat Builder, where you choose Battery Terminal among other base modules and place it inside your habitat.
Battery Terminal Fragment 1
Start your journey from your Lifepod and continue swimming towards the north. The location of the Old Habitat is approximately 350 metres away. Along the way, you will reach a place that has many jellyfish. Right after that point, you will find remains of the habitat.
Dive beneath the water and make your way towards the right-hand side of the structure. Search for a large entrance opening and swim inside it. Once you get in, you will notice a ladder on your right-hand side. Climb up the ladder until you reach the top part of the habitat. Then, turn right and move into the next nearby room. This is where you will find the first Battery Terminal fragment to be scanned by your Scanner.
Battery Terminal Fragment 2
After you have scanned the first fragment, backtrack towards the bottom of the ladder. Rather than moving up to the surface, go through the nearby hallway. Keep going ahead through the hallway, and on your right, you will reach the second fragment of Battery Terminal. Scan this to complete the Battery Terminal blueprint.
