How To Start Summer Update
Start from your town and move towards the beach area, which is located towards the south of the island. Here you will find Dave standing near the beach. His boat has broken, and he is stranded on the island. Talk to Dave and then repair the boat with the help of three Farm Planks and one Farm Colour.
How to Get Farm Planks
The Farm Planks in Luma Island are important resources for building and crafting and are mainly used for constructing buildings, upgrading buildings and fixing bridges. Get the Farm Planks by processing the raw materials obtained from the farm biome in the sawmill. The Farm Wood is obtained either by chopping trees or by buying from the vendors.
How To Get Farm Colour
Farm Colour, in Luma Island, is a crafting item that is used to make dull objects fancy and meet certain tier requirements for brewing recipes and crafting. This material can be obtained through crafting at the Simple Workbench and requires 1x Farm Berry. Farm Berry can either be gathered on the ground or from bushes in the forest and wilderness area of the Farm Biome.
Return to Dave the Diver
Now talk to Dave after getting all the materials. He will ask you to accompany him to Spicy Rock, so hop on the newly repaired boat and set sail. Talk to Dave one last time after reaching the new island, which will unlock the Spicy Rock map. You are now free to explore the new island at your leisure.
When Does the Summer Update Begin
The Summer Update is available from August 11th onwards, and it is free for all players who have Luma Island. You need to check for any new update in the game, after which you can explore the given location to find Dave. After your initial interaction with Dave, you can start new questlines, explore new areas, and find new exploration items.
