Opening the entrance to the cave of Cavalorn is not simple. Once you enter, you will find a puzzle involving some plates on the floor that need to be correctly moved to gain access to the door. The puzzle can be confusing at first, especially if you’re not sure which plates to move or in what order. This guide will show you where to find Cavalorn’s Cave.
How To Open The Cavalorn’s Cave Door
Cavalorn’s Cave can be found directly to the west of Cavalorn’s Hut. Start your journey at the south gate of the Old Camp and travel west on the road towards the Orc Territory. Follow this path all the way to the point where it splits.
After reaching the split, head west, where you will come across a few goblins. Follow this road until you find a wooden building with a fence next to it on the right side. After coming to the building, turn left, and there you will see a big fallen tree. Cavalorn’s Cave is located behind this tree. You should move the plates according to the following sequence:
- Shift the 4th plate two steps to the right.
- Shift the 2nd plate five steps to the right.
- Shift the 5th plate two steps to the right.
- Shift the 6th plate five steps to the left.
- Shift the 1st plate five steps to the right.
- Shift the 2nd plate another five steps to the right.
- Shift the 4th plate five steps to the right.
- Shift the 6th plate five steps to the left.
- Shift the 3rd plate three steps to the right.
- Shift the 2nd plate two more steps to the right.
- At last, shift the 5th plate two steps to the right.
If you’re playing on Xbox, use the D-Pad Right or D-Pad Left whenever the corresponding direction is needed. Inside there are two chests and many other rewards. Since this place is not guarded, you can easily pick the lock.
