The glider is a great device in ArcheAge Chronicles which enables you to fly in the air and explore areas which are otherwise hard to reach via walking mode. Nonetheless, before you start flying using it, there are some prerequisites to be met, such as unlocking and equipping the device. In addition, the glider can be upgraded. Here’s how to get the glider, use it, and upgrade it in ArcheAge Chronicles.
How To Get The Glider
If you want to obtain the glider in ArcheAge Chronicles, then you need to visit Seaglass Beach, which is situated on the eastern side of the Watchtower of Hope and a bit beyond the Wafer Camp. When you are at Seaglass Beach, you need to find an NPC by the name of Aeon and speak to him. He will give you a quest called End of the Ruins, which involves using the glider to reach a nearby location.
How To Use The Glider
However, before you use the glider, you have to equip it from your inventory. Just open your inventory, locate the glider, right-click on it and select the Equip option, which will assign the glider to your fifth hotbar slot. To see your hotbars, you just have to open the inventory. After equipping the glider, choose an appropriate place, jump, and press the 5 button to use it. Remember to press the 5 button for continued utilisation of the glider when in the air.
How To Upgrade The Glider
• Get Designs: Get designs for glider upgrades/Blueprints (from experimental level to advanced, better, and so on) via milestones in gameplay or via Mirage Isle or crafting.
• Craft at Workbench: Go to the Carpentry Workbench in the town or crafting place and choose Machining there, then craft your glider tier with the next needed design.
• Work and Order: To make upgrades to your glider, first of all, you will need to unequip the glider that you have now (this process requires labour points; for example, 25 labour points per tier in the classic crafting system).
• Gather the Right Materials: Since there are different glider types, you need to have the right materials to upgrade them. You can check what materials are required while interacting with the glider at the workbench. You also require some money to spend per glider. The more refined a glider is, the higher the cost to upgrade it.
