Getting the Iron Eagle pet in Crimson Desert can be difficult at first, but it’s very simple. The Iron Eagle works just like any other pet; it follows you around and helps pick up loot from the ground while you play. As long as you come prepared and stay patient during the process, you will be able to add the Iron Eagle. This guide will show you the location, the right timing, and the steps you need to follow to unlock and tame the Iron Eagle.
How To Get The Iron Eagle Pet

First of all, go to Hawkstone Ruins located in Delesyia. To find it on your map, take a look at the area above the letter “A”. Before heading there, make sure you’re properly prepared. You will need:
- A Bird Feeder in your inventory
- 20 Mercury, which is used to tame the Iron Eagle
Each piece of mercury increases the eagle’s trust, and it will eat all 20 in one go if you don’t disturb it. This is a time-based event, so timing is very important. Go to Hawkstone Ruins at 4:00 a.m. and watch the statue carefully because shortly before 5:00 a.m., a mechanism on the statue will align. When that happens, you will see an “Operate” prompt.

At 4:50 a.m., the machine will be ready, and when the “Operate” prompt appears in front of you, perform this action. You will see a short cutscene, during which your character will release an Iron Eagle, which will fly high above your head.
How To Tame The Iron Eagle

The moment the cut scene is over, crouch and stand still without moving closer to it. After some time, the eagle will fly around you and then come to rest on your birdfeeder. Allow it to eat the 20 mercury pieces, and when it hits trust level 100, approach and tame it.
