Durandal is one of the best swords that you can get at the beginning of The Blood of Dawnwalker. This sword has a few nice abilities that will make battles a little easier, especially against Corrupted opponents. The good thing about it is that you do not have to beat any bosses to get it. How To Get The Durandal
First, you need to head to the Coward’s Path Shrine, located in the Briar Sloughs area. Once you have reached the shrine, proceed on the road towards the north. You will be moving on until you come across a cliff which has a broken bridge as well as a cart. Once you are here, put yourself on Focus Mode and check the cart out. That is how you will be able to get this quest and find the Durandal. The Durandal has many bonuses for you.

Find Scander’s Treasure
Once you have started the quest, you will find out that Scander’s treasure lies at the bottom of the ravine. Follow the route on the right and go on your journey downwards. When you reach the bottom, walk along the right side of the ravine. There are some enemies around, so it is better to evade them rather than face them.
Get The Durandal
Upon reaching the area, you will see a wall to the right where you can use your wall-walking powers. Use them to move across the wall and onto the near ledge. Once you’re on the ledge, use Focus Mode once again, and you will see the yellow loot marker.
Simply jump and grab the item, and then move away from there. The enemies at this stage are of higher levels compared to yours, and hence there is no point in engaging in battle with them. Escape from this area, and you will end up with the legendary Durandal sword.
