Starmie Doll is a unique item that you will need to complete the quest by Frillish in the Bubbly Basin DLC of Pokémon Pokopia. Starmie Doll also helps unlock Basin Dream Island, which provides players with rare materials and new Pokémon. However, the game doesn’t clearly tell you where to look for it, making it easy to miss. In this guide, we’ll show you how to get the Starmie Doll and where to find it.
How To Get Starmie Doll
In order to get the Starmie Doll, you must first raise Bubbly Basin to Environment Level 3. After you have done this, you need to talk to Popplio, and it will start introducing you to new Pokémon, including Frillish. You should search for the Frillish Pokémon inside the cave that is located behind the big building being constructed. If you do not know where to go, just ask Popplio. After that, use Rock Smash on the rocks that block the entrance to the cave, and enter the cave.
Finding Starmie Doll
After reaching the open portion of the cave, the game advises the use of the Dowsing Machine in order to locate the treasure. Although the Dowsing Machine can help, there is no need to use it at all. Keep moving on in the cave until you come across the place where the mine carts are located. There would be a huge pile of grey colored rocks which can be broken.
Upon breaking the rocks, you would come across a hidden treasure which has the Starmie Doll in it. With the use of the Dowsing Machine, Frillish would lead you to the exact location of the Starmie Doll. You can even take a picture of the doll and create its clones using the 3D Printer. Making a clone requires 5 Rare Pokémetals.
How To Use The Starmie Doll
This doll is not only collectable but also allows you to reach Basin Dream Island. Simply use the doll to unlock this special island, where you can gather rare materials like Sea Grapes, Corals, and Grubby Pearls.
