In Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, you’ll unlock different abilities as you explore Hyrule and try to stop the mysterious rifts. One of these abilities lets you become Link and use a sword.
The Swordfighter form doesn’t last forever. You’ll need to collect more energy to use it again. Since you have limited energy, you should use it wisely. You can find energy in special places, and you might need to use Swordfighter form to solve certain puzzles. Here’s how to get energy for Swordfighter form in Echoes of Wisdom.
Where to get Swordfighter energy
You can find the first pieces of Swordfighter energy as you continue exploring the Suthorn Ruins, where you fought Link and learned to use the Swordfighter form. These energy pieces are floating runes that you can collect when your Swordfighter energy is low. You can see your Swordfighter energy bar at the top left of your screen and activate it by pressing up on the D-pad.
If you’re near Swordfighter energy, it will automatically go to you and increase your total. Just like other items in Echoes of Wisdom, you don’t need to press any buttons to pick it up. Swordfighter energy can sometimes be found in hard-to-reach places, but you only need to get close to collect it.
You’ll usually find Swordfighter energy in places where you’ll need to use the Swordfighter form, like dungeons and puzzles. Look for large, dark webs that are blocking your way. You can use the Swordfighter’s sword to cut through these webs.
Getting to these places can be challenging. For example, in the Suthorn Ruins, you’ll find Swordfighter energy floating above a Deku Baba. To get there, you’ll need to break through some dark webs. You might not always have enough Swordfighter energy to do this, so you’ll need to think creatively. In this case, you could make an echo of a Strandtula and climb the webs it creates to reach the other side.
You’ll encounter more obstacles like this as you play Echoes of Wisdom. Luckily, Swordfighter energy has a blue glow that makes it easier to find. If you think you see some, stand still for a few seconds. Swordfighter energy moves slowly around its location, and it might be hidden behind a wall. Wait a bit longer for it to appear.
