Go to the marked location on the Gnarly Bark region to find Phantom Quartz Shard. Once you get to the place, find a cave entrance in the western section. The cave is under the tree, and it is one of the best places to get the crystal without fighting too many creatures.
Get inside the cave and start swimming in the water. You will see that there are plenty of crystals underwater. But in case you are looking for an easier way to get them, continue swimming ahead and soon you will get on land. Right behind the large paper Discovery area are a bunch of crystals. You will need a Tier 3 Omni-Hammer in order to break the quartz and collect it.
You may also bring the Toe Biter Buggy with you if you have it and go to the left part of the cave. Keep moving in that direction, and you’ll find more crystals. There will be two creatures nearby, so defeat them first and then collect the two crystals in that area.
