Although these clothing items typically don’t provide damage reduction, they can still grant unique buffs, much like other accessories. Unique Gloves Locations in Avowed
Choosing the right gloves for your character is essential not only for their stats but also for their appearance. You can equip a pair for its benefits while using Transmogrification to display a different one, allowing you to customize both your build and style.
Wayfarer’s Gloves
The Wayfarer’s Gloves are likely the first unique item you’ll come across in Avowed. You can purchase them from Lynna’s shop through the trade screen for 600 currency. These gloves add extra Fire damage to enemies when you land a power attack.
Arcanist’s Gloves
You can obtain the Arcanist’s Gloves by visiting the Shrine of Woedica in northern Dawnshore and breaking a wall on the building’s right side. Inside, you’ll find a golden chest containing this item. These gloves enhance your maximum essence and increase parkour speed.
Blackwing Gloves
You can find the Blackwing Gloves on the rooftop of the Aedyran Embassy by climbing up from the path on the building’s left side. You’ll visit this location during the main story investigation as well. These gloves are among the best early-game clothing pieces, providing a 1% boost to critical rate and a 10% increase in critical damage.
Warmage’s Bracers
You can purchase the Warmage’s Bracers from Ector Brewer’s shop in Fior Mes Iverno for 1,500 currency. These gloves reduce the essence cost of your abilities while providing a significant boost to shock damage.
Steel Garrote Gauntlets
The Steel Garrote Gauntlets are an open-world item located in the bottom-right area of Paradis, just outside the city near where “Underbelly” is marked on the map. To access them, you’ll need to break a webbed wall. These gloves enhance your parry efficiency and increase your maximum stamina.
Eothasian Gauntlets
You can find the Eothasian Gauntlets on the northeastern edge of Emerald Stairs inside the Abandoned Home. To access them, you’ll need to break a wall using your abilities. These gloves improve your parry efficiency and boost damage when using maces and two-handed hammers.
Death Knight Gloves
The Death Knight Gloves can only be obtained just before entering Shatterscape from Emerald Stairs by challenging and defeating Captain Aelfyr. These gloves enhance your frost damage and reduce stamina consumption while blocking.
Wolf Gloves
You can find the Wolf Gloves in the Naku Tedek Grounds by heading to the southern edge, where you’ll encounter a large group of Xaurips. Wavebinder Bracers

You can find the Xaurip Paws in the Leviathan’s Hollow area of Shatterscarp, located in the northwestern region. Trickster’s Gloves
The Trickster’s Gloves are among the best clothing items in Avowed and can be found at the bottom of the Sand Sea Oasis area. These gloves grant a 1% increase in critical hit chance and a significant 25% boost to critical damage.
Thirdborn Gloves
You can purchase the Thirdborn Gloves from Cinzia in Thirdborn for 3,750 currency. These gloves provide a straightforward damage boost and grant two additional levels in Might.
Unique Shoes Locations in Avowed
Your character has two clothing slots, one of which can be used to equip a pair of shoes. Here are all the available options:
Steel Garrote Boots
You can find the Steel Garrote Boots in the Dawnshore Xaurip Camp, located on the western edge just below Seaside Cavern. Climb to the top of the camp, and you’ll discover them on a Steel Garrote’s body. These boots increase your carry capacity by five and grant one level of Constitution while equipped.
Arcanist’s Boots
You can easily obtain the Arcanist’s Boots from a golden chest at the top of the lighthouse west of Claviger’s Landing. These boots enhance health restoration and provide a boost to movement speed.
Boots of the Bricklayer
You can find the Boots of the Bricklayer in the Pargrun Cache of Dawnshore by entering the main building at the top and breaking some explosive barrels. These boots increase your dodge distance and provide a slight boost to your carry capacity.
Wayfarer’s Boots
You can find the Wayfarer’s Boots after crossing to the eastern side of Dawnshore following the Strangleroot section. To obtain them, jump into the water from the bottom-left side of Fellowship Harbor and enter the hole in the wall. Shoot the room with the golden chest to unlock the door, where you’ll find the boots inside. These boots increase your resistance to Poison and Bleed accumulation while also regenerating health as you walk.
Vailian Boots
To obtain the Vailian Boots, head north to the river beside the Moldering Godless Ruins, where you’ll find a platform in the middle of the water. Open the golden chest on this platform to collect the boots. These boots provide a slight boost to carry capacity, grant one level in Dexterity, and increase dodge distance.
Blackwing Boots
You can purchase the Blackwing Boots from the merchant in the top-left area of Northern Paradis for 1,500 currency. These boots increase dodge distance and grant one level in Dexterity.
Warmage’s Boots
To obtain the Warmage’s Boots, navigate through the entire Riverside Cave near the previously mentioned boots. You’ll find them inside a golden chest at the very end. These boots grant additional essence and offer a 10% chance to restore essence when dodging.
Death Knight Sabatons
You can find the Death Knight Sabatons inside the Waterfall Cave, located to the left of Fior Mes Iverno. To access them, climb a few rocks and break the wall using an explosive barrel. These boots increase your maximum health and provide resistance to Poison and Bleed accumulation.
Wolf Boots
You can find the Wolf Boots in the Moldering Godless Ruins, north of Emerald Stairs, by defeating all the enemies and looting Amadio’s body. These boots increase dodge distance and grant an additional level in Constitution.
Eothasian Boots

You can find the Shoes of the Glimmering Merchant by exiting Fior Mes Iverno to the north, then heading right until you reach a hidden door at the top of a few staircases. Activate the switch on the left to open the door, where you’ll find these boots inside. These shoes grant a significant boost of two levels in Intellect and one in Perception.

Wavebinder Boots
You can find the Wavebinder Boots in a small cave northeast of the Sulfur Mines Basecamp. Inside, you’ll discover them on a soldier’s body hidden within the cave. These boots increase your maximum essence and reduce the impact of hit reactions.
