How To Get A Sword And Club
In the early stages of the game, there will be no means of defence for your safety. The best move would be to go towards the Old Camp as quickly as possible. Following Diego along the way will protect you from any creature that comes on the way.
Walking through this area way down from the bridge will finally bring you to a place where there are some Juvenile Scavengers. Keep an eye out for a large dead tree with hanging dead bodies nearby. The Old Sword is located right next to it. At the same time, there can be another dead body sitting against a tree trunk near the wagon, and next to it, there is the Club. Always be careful near the dead bodies as Juvenile Scavengers or bandits can be roaming around the area.
The Club and Nail Club are among the weapons carried around by bandits. After obtaining a basic sword and acquiring some health-related items, it’s time to go into the nearby forest and search out bandits operating solo. Solo encounters with bandits are quite easy at this point in the game, and they will give very good rewards such as weapons, armour and other useful loot that will help you progress in the game.
