The Dave the Diver quest in Luma Island takes you through several simple tasks to help Dave repair his situation. You will need to collect lead, use it as bait to find Ocean Spice, catch a few special fish, and finally recover Dave’s lost flipper. In this guide, we will show you how to complete the Dave the Diver quest and collect your rewards.
How To Do Dave The Diver Quest
After going to Spicy Rock, Dave will ask you to get some heavy metals. Just near the palm trees, you will find lead deposits. Use your pickaxe to collect the lead. Here, you will find a chest. Open the chest to collect different types of loot. Now, return to Dave and give him the lead.
Catching The Fishes
Dave will ask you to use the lead as a fishing bait to catch the Ocean Spice. Now go to the corner of the island, and you will see yellowish bubbles on the sea. Use your fishing rod and lead as bait to throw your fishing line at the yellowish bubbles. Now, you will be able to collect Ocean Spice and use it as bait.
Return back to Dave, and he will ask you to catch:
- 3x Cinnamon Carp
- 3x Pepperfin
- 3x Chilli Cod
To catch these fish, you need to use Ocean Spice. Luckily, you can capture all the fishes in the same location. If you have run out of bait, return the next day to try again.
Find Dave’s Flipper
After catching the fish, return to Dave, and he will ask you to find his flipper. To find his flipper, go to the corner of the island. Here, you will find a clam which is biting Dave’s flipper. Use Ocean Spice on the clam so that it releases the flipper and gives you a pearl. Now, return the flipper to Dave to complete Dave The Diver quest and get the rewards. Once you complete the Dave the Diver quest, you’ll receive a bunch of useful rewards.
