In order to activate the Earth Mover from Grounded 2’s Into The Abyss Update, you must fix a couple of cables and activate a control nearby. The task is not very difficult, but you should first have 3 Sap Bandages ready. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the Earth Mover, how to repair all three cables, activate the controller, and get the Sap Bandages you need.
How To Activate Earth Mover
First, you need to go to the Earth Mover, which is shown on the map. It’s in the Gnarly Bark POI. Before heading to the Earth Mover, make sure you have 3 Sap Bandages, as you will require them to fix the cables.
When you arrive at the Earth Mover, find the cable and fix the first broken part. Then you need to go to the other end, where you will find another broken part, and use your second Sap Bandage to fix it.
Next, move to the centre and fix the last broken part of the cable. Having fixed all three parts, you will be able to leave the area and proceed to the controller. It can be found near the Race Track above it. Go to the controller and interact with it to activate it.
Once you have activated the controller, you should search for an Ant Soldier and climb up. It is possible to climb up to the top via the right side through the stairs. Continue your climbing process until you get to the top area. In the top area, you should find the entrance in front of you. Be careful, as there is a creature nearby. Once you deal with it, climb up into the tree to reach the entrance. That is all you need to do to activate it.
How To Get Sap Bandage
The Sap Bandage is a Tier 1 healing item. You can craft it by hand, so you don’t need a crafting station. To make 1 Sap Bandage, you need:
- 1 Clover Leaf
- 1 Sap
Once you have both materials, simply craft the bandage from your inventory.
How To Get Clover Leaves
Collecting Clover Leaves in Grounded 2 is very easy, especially during the early stages of the game. To start with, you need to reach the first Ranger Station in Grounded 2. Then head towards the direction of the hill that will take you to where you emerged from the lab. Here, you will be able to find the Clover plants. Just cut them down and collect the Clover Leaves they drop.
How To Get Sap
Collecting Sap is a very easy process considering that it is readily available near the starting point. You should take your time and examine the tree roots in the nearby surroundings of the starting point. Sap is often present on these tree roots, hence making the process easier.
Sap can also be obtained from certain small plants or roots present in the surrounding area. All you need to do is explore the area near the starting point and find the small Sap node present on them.
A number of Sap locations exist in this area, hence allowing you to easily gather sufficient amounts. In case you require Sap at an earlier stage for crafting certain items like Sap Bandages, you can look for it around the tree roots of the starting point.
