First Spark Sanctum is one of the Sanctuums that you would be able to discover in Aniimo. It features a few puzzles, chests to find, and an Emberpup that you can catch only here. Using your Fire Bolt, you would have to get rid of some barriers, activate barrels, and find the chests. This guide covers the First Spark Sanctum location, all four chests, the Emberpup, and the steps needed to repair the Vein.
First Spark Sanctum Location
The location of the First Spark portal is in Breezy Plains, Nimbus Fields, at coordinates -1018, 0648. Mark the portal on the in-game map. After reaching the place, ascend the staircase to get to the hovering cube, where you will have to interact with it to activate the portal and go into the Sanctum.
At the beginning of the Sanctum, head towards the Animo Statue through the green waypoint. Interact with it to obtain the unique Emberpup of the Sanctum, and then twine with it using the E key.
There is a wooden gate on your way forward. Press the Q key and direct your fire bolt at it to set it on fire and break it down.
First Chest
For the next part, you need to go to the stone archway located above your head. You can find the first chest, which is stuck in the hanging vines. You have to use your Fire Bolt spell on the vines and burn them to make the chest drop. You will find the following rewards in it:
- Glimmer x10
- Sparkling Crystal x10
- Credit x10000
- Gargantuan Horn x1
Second Chest
Secondly, proceed to the left side of the room and head up the stairs. The second chest is trapped inside a block of ice with a barrel of explosives located right under it. You have to blast the barrel so that the chest gets dropped to the floor due to the melting ice.
The chest will hold Avenging Gear as well as some Glimmer, Sparkling Crystal, and Credits. Then return to the ground and go to the right side of the room. Grab the blue crystal located on the stairs and proceed by following the blue arrow marked on the wall.
Third Chest
The third chest is located within the chimney. Press Q and target the fire that is at the base of the chimney and ignite it using the Fire Bolt ability. The flames will push the chest down into your reach, and when you open it, you will find a Marching Flask.
Fourth Chest
Next, head back into the main room and go to the upper ledge. There is the fourth chest near another explosive barrel. Fire at the barrel to get the chest to fall off and take the Explosive Gloves from the chest. Lastly, go up the central stairs towards the exit point. Pick up the blue crystal at the end and activate the machine at the green waypoint. The Vein will be repaired, and the First Spark Sanctum will be completed.
