Ore gathering is an intrinsic part of advancement in the Monster Hunter franchise, and Monster Hunter Wilds is no different. All Ore Locations (Low and High Rank)
In Monster Hunter Wilds, ore is just one of the many resources you’ll need to craft weapons and armor for both you and your Palico. While there’s some overlap with monster parts and other materials, ore mainly comes from Mining Outcrops. Just like in previous games, you can gather ore by striking a Mining Outcrop up to three times.
The game is divided into Low Rank and High Rank. Low Rank monsters are easier to take down, and the ores you find at this level are more common. Once you unlock High Rank, you’ll start coming across rarer materials. Generally, anything with a Rarity of 4 or 5 can be found in Low Rank.
