Lifepods are essential points of interest in the game. They not only provide various information on the game, but also contain many blueprints and data logs to make your way easier in the game. Currently, there are 9 Lifepods that you can find all over the map. All Lifepod Locations

Once you check a radio message in Subnautica, the lifepod coordinates usually show up on your GPS automatically. You don’t need to figure them out manually, just follow the on-screen marker. Most lifepods are damaged and have sunk underwater. Inside or nearby, you will often find a PDA, data boxes, or blueprint fragments to help you progress. Only Lifepod 4 stays floating; all the others are underwater.

    Lifepod 5

Lifepod 5 is the pod you start the game in. It’s the only one that survived the crash intact. While it doesn’t hold any collectables like the others, it serves as your first base and point of return in early gameplay.

    Lifepod 2

    Coordinates: (-490, -500, 1333)

Lifepod 2 is usually the last one to appear through a radio message, and it’s also the deepest, at around -500 meters in the Blood Kelp Zone. You will find a data box containing the Cyclops Depth Module MK1, and a PDA with Chief Technical Officer Yu’s voicelog.

    Lifepod 3

    Coordinates: (-25, -20, 403)

Lifepod 3 is much easier to find and is located in the Kelp Forest, close to your starting point at Lifepod 5. This pod contains a PDA with the Crew Log, a data box with the Compass blueprint, and a Seaglide fragment.

    Lifepod 4

    Coordinates: (705, -4, 161)

Lifepod 4 is the only one that didn’t sink. It’s floating near the Aurora wreck in the Crash Zone. You will find a PDA with the Crew Log and a data box that gives you the Creature Decoy blueprint.

    Lifepod 6

    Coordinates: (362, -109, 305)

Lifepod 6 sank into the Grassy Plateaus. You will find two PDAs with Crew Logs 1 and 2, and a data box containing the Ultra Glide Fins blueprint, which increases your swim speed.

    Lifepod 7

    Coordinates: (-64, -179, -1048)

Lifepod 7 is found in the Crag Field. Inside, you will discover a PDA with the Crew Log, and some unique items like an Unusual Doll (Markiplier doll) and another placeable item.

    Lifepod 12

    Coordinates: (-1109, -271, -556)

Lifepod 12 is located in the Bulb Zone. You will find a PDA with Medical Officer Danby’s Crew Log and a data box with the Repulsion Cannon blueprint.

    Lifepod 13

    Coordinates: (-919, -179, 502)

Lifepod 13 is found on the northwest side of the Mushroom Forest. Inside, there’s a PDA with the Emissary’s Voicelog and a data box that gives you another Ultra Glide Fins blueprint.

    Lifepod 17

    Coordinates: (-513, -95, -43)

Lifepod 17 is also in the Grassy Plateaus. It contains a PDA with the Crew Log and a Seamoth fragment, very helpful for building your first submersible vehicle.

    Lifepod 19

    Coordinates: (-820, -295, -875)

Lifepod 19 is located in the Deep Sparse Reef. Inside, you will find two PDAs with Officer Keen’s Voicelog and Crew Log, and a data box that gives you the Ultra High Capacity Tank blueprint, perfect for longer dives.
