Kakariko Village & Graveyard 100% Walkthrough

Kakariko Village and its Graveyard are locations in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake. You can find them east of Hyrule Castle Town.

    Heart Piece #1

The man who is situated on the rooftop of the Potion Shop located at the northeastern portion of Kakariko Village will give you a Heart Piece upon talking to him. In order to do that, go near the cucco located at the windmill and glide using it to the rooftop of the Potion Shop.

    Empty Bottle #1

You can get an Empty Bottle by collecting all seven cuccos scattered around Kakariko Village and placing them in the pen in the southwest corner of the village, near the red-haired woman.

    Gold Skulltula #1

When you first enter Kakariko Village, roll into the tree near the entrance. This will knock a Gold Skulltula out of the tree, allowing you to collect it.

    Catch a Bug

To find the next Gold Skulltula, leave Kakariko Village through the same entrance you used earlier. Head down the stairs and cut the grass on your right to reveal some bugs. Use an Empty Bottle to catch one of them.

    Gold Skulltula #2

Head to the southeast corner of Kakariko Village at night and look near the entrance of the Gold Skulltula House. You’ll find a Gold Skulltula waiting by the door.

    Learn Sun’s Song

The ability to turn day and night anytime is available through the Sun’s Song. In order to access this song, visit the big grave located in the east part of the graveyard. Once there, stand in front of the grave and position yourself where the Triforce is marked. Use your ocarina and play Zelda’s Lullaby to unlock the grave. Inside the grave, go to the last room and interact with the headstone.

    Free Hylian Shield (Night)

This is something that should be done at night because the child will prevent you from pulling out the headstone during the day. To shift the time if you need it, use the Sun’s Song. You can acquire a Hylian Shield for free by going to the Graveyard at night. Go to the southeastern part of the graveyard and find a set of five headstones west of the tomb where you learned the Sun’s Song. Pull out the second headstone from the left to uncover a hole in the ground. Drop inside and open the chest to collect your shield.

    Heart Piece #2 (Night)

Go to the southeastern section of the graveyard, west of the grave from which you learned Sun’s Song. There you will see a line of five graves. Move the one on the right side and make a hole, and enter it and grab the Heart piece from the chest. Be careful that you visit the location at night, because otherwise a kid will block your way during the daytime.

    Heart Piece #3 (Night)

Find Dampe in the Graveyard during nighttime to begin the Diggin’ Tour quest. Pay him money to unearth the patches of earth until he finds the Heart Piece for you. The Heart Piece will be randomly located in one of the locations, which means that it might take several tries for Dampe to locate it. To save your money, make a save point before beginning the quest and reset.

    Gold Skulltula #3

You can find a Gold Skulltula on the wall of the construction site in the southwest part of Kakariko Village. Make sure you visit at night, as it only appears during this time.

    Gold Skulltula #4

Head to the northwest part of Kakariko Village at night and look for the ladder leading to the top of the tower. You’ll find a Gold Skulltula crawling on the ladder.

    Gold Skulltula #5

Visit the northwest corner of Kakariko Village at night and check behind the house. A Gold Skulltula can be found hiding there.

    Gold Skulltula #6

In order to find this Gold Skulltula, you will require an Empty Bottle as well as a bug. To obtain the bottle, you need to return all seven cuccos to their cage in Kakariko Village. After that, go to the Graveyard and locate a stone to your right. Pick up the stone, and you will see that there are some bugs beneath it. Capture one of these in the bottle. Now head to the soil mound in the northwest part of the Graveyard and place the bug on it.

Show The Letter To The Guard

Head to the upper part of Kakariko Village and speak to the guard standing at the gate to Death Mountain Trail. Show him Zelda’s Letter, and he’ll let you pass through the gate.

    Rupees Bag

If you’ve collected every token so far, you should have around 13 Gold Skulltula Tokens. This means you can claim the Adult’s Wallet from the Gold Skulltula House reward for collecting at least 10 tokens. It increases the amount of Rupees you can carry.
