Aiming High is an easy quest within Gothic 1 Remake, where you get the chance to acquire the Climbing ability in an early stage of the game. It can be found through Theron in Swamp Camp in Chapter 1. Even though it might appear insignificant, after the completion of this quest, you get the chance to use your new ability to climb and explore different areas of the Colony. Aiming High Quest
Aiming High is a side mission which can be obtained from Theron in the Swamp Camp, starting from Chapter 1. To unlock this mission, speak to Theron and inform him that the skill you wish to get is climbing. Theron will be found near the shoreline, after passing the right side of Temple Square.
Before agreeing to train you, Theron will ask Northern Darks. It is possible to purchase Northern Darks from Fortuno at a price of 46 Ore Nuggets per packet containing 3 Northern Darks. Fortuno gives 3 Northern Darks for free daily.
Learning The Climbing Skill
From the entrance of the Swamp Camp, head towards the opposite direction of the camp in search of the blacksmith. The stall of Fortuno is nearby. After Fortuno’s stall, take the path leading to the Temple Square. After reaching the square, go through the path located on its right side and continue walking till you reach the shore area, where Theron will be found.
When you speak with Theron, choose the following dialogue options to get him talking about one of his favourite places to relax:
- What are you doing all the way out here?
- Where’s that other spot?
- What kind of rolls do you want?
Then, Theron will make an offer to teach you the Climbing skill, but only if you bring him 6 Northern Darks. When you get 6 Northern Darks, give them to Theron, and he will agree to teach you the Climbing skill in exchange for 5 LP.
After getting this skill, climb the wall which is near and go up there. Just wait until Theron gets to his favourite place, and talk to him. Theron will give you 3 Northern Darks and complete your Aiming High quest.
