A Devil in the Garden is a main story quest in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred that takes the player into the corrupted wilderness of Skovos. In this quest, you and Lorath follow the spreading brambles created by Mephisto as you search for a way to reach the Temple of Life. A Devil in the Garden Quest
A Devil in the Garden is one of the main missions in Diablo 4. This mission starts in the Skovos zone, where you have to visit Zerae’s Shore. The quest appears automatically once you finish the mission called Mother’s Guidance. After completing the mission, talk to Lorath about the blade that can send Mephisto to the Void realm. After completing the dialogue, you get the A Devil in the Garden mission.
After talking to Lorath about the broken Blade, go down south to The Golden Boughs to find him again. Talk to Lorath and select the dialogue option, “What is all this?”, which reveals the information about the dense thorns appearing throughout the forest. After finishing the dialogue, move southeast following the quest marker. While going through Noxious Wilds, kill the corrupted creatures attacking you.
Going to Temple of Life
Once you get there, kill all the enemies that you find there. When you finish talking to Lorath after the battle, make your choice from the conversation options and select “It is all starting to remind me of his actions against Nahantu” to progress further in the quest.
Then, move to the south to visit the Temple of Life. Pass through Twisted Undergrowth here with several corrupted enemies on your way. Kill them and destroy Twisted Undergrowth to clear the road. This will complete your quest “A Devil in the Garden.”.
