Saturas’ chest in his private quarters hides a few magic spells along with a few utility items which will be useful if you’re walking the path of a mage. And since the chest is located in his private quarters, you need to be quick on collecting them before other mages spot you trespassing. This guide explains where the chest is located, step by step lockpick combination to unlock the chest and what loot you can expect.
Saturas’ Chest Location
Enter the round table chamber where the Water Mages gather within the New Camp’s settlement. From the chamber’s entrance turn right and the first hut you come to on that side belongs to Saturas. Go inside only if Saturas is away from his hut and you’ll find the chest located within his private quarters.
Chest Lockpick Combination
To unlock the chest you can follow the below given combination-
- Move the 4th plate to the right 3 times.
- Then move the 3rd plate to the right 6 times.
- Now select and move the 2nd plate to the left 2 times.
- Then move the 6th plate to the right 6 times.
- Move the 5th plate to the right 6 times.
- Then move the 4th plate again to the right 3 times.
- Now move the 6th plate to the right 3 times.
- Finally move the 1st plate to the left 2 times.
Rewards
The following rewards can be collected upon unlocking Saturas’ chest – Ball Lightning scroll, Ice Block scroll, Ice Bolt scroll and Extract of Magic Energy potion.
Battle of Varant
While you’re in Saturas’ private quarters, you can also collect Battle of Varant Vol.1 and Vol.2 which can be found on the table in his hut. This book does not hold any significance but they are related to the game’s lore and it speaks about the Battle between King Rhobar and Gellon/ Lukkor that took place in Varant.
