In Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, there are three hidden transcriptions that you must find inside tunnels under the ground. It is not easy to find them since there will be some enemy encounters as you traverse through the tunnels. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find all three transcriptions and how to collect them so you can complete the quest and continue with the main story.
How to Find the Hidden Transcriptions
One of the important tasks of Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen requires the player to collect three hidden transcriptions from the underground passages. The underground passage is rather complicated to explore and there are also some formidable enemies that you will have to deal with.
First Transcription Location
Take the elevator to the snowy field from the castle. You might want to use the fast travel or Portcrystal nearby if you have it. Go further according to the guide, and you should end up in front of the place where there is a deep hole leading you underground. If you have not gained access to it yet, then you should move forward in the storyline.
Go further down the tunnel until you see the first transcription. Remember to be prepared to fight against some powerful enemies on your way to the transcription site. When you get there, activate the slab for studying.
Remember to copy the transcription once you interact with the slab; simply looking at the transcription is not enough. If you do not take care to copy it, you will have to return later to do that. Once you copy the first transcription, go to the second one through another tunnel.
Second Transcription Location
After the first transcription point, take the tunnel and climb up the stairs. Then turn at the corner and proceed through the small cave until you get to a place where there are some statues. Make your way by following the statues, because they will guide you on your way.
You will come to a place where there is a ladder that leads to the next transcription point. But before taking that ladder, be prepared to engage in a battle, since there might be some tough opponents ready to fight you.
After defeating the enemy, find the broken slab. If the path is blocked, then consider whether you should use explosives to clear the road. After getting past the blockage, there will be the second transcription. Approach the slab and make a copy of the transcription. Now you can move towards the last location.
Third Transcription Location
After getting the second transcription, go back up to the top of the ladder. After that, move back through the cave and take the path that leads to the next tunnel. It might be possible to get to this point sooner, but you can still collect it now without any problem.
Go ahead through the tunnel and be prepared to defeat some enemies. Defeat all of them and keep going forward until you come to a room with an enemy in it. Defeat all enemies and find the last transcription. Talk to the slab and get the transcription.
Complete the Hidden Transcriptions Quest
After all three of the transcriptions have been copied, go back to the man from the Sealed Study and give them to him. Getting all three will enable you to move forward with the quest and carry on with the story. It is important that you copy each transcription after reading the slab. This little task is easily overlooked, and not doing it may require you to make your way through the tunnels once again.
