In Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, you will have to locate the nest of Gagana for the Quilt Me Down With a Feather quest. Once you find the nest, you need to retrieve a feather from there for Aymond, the merchant who can be found at the Norgandian Settlement. However, entering the nest is quite difficult, as it is situated at a high level and is out of reach. You must lure Gagana into doing that for you. Here’s how to find the nest and collect the feather.
How to Reach Gagana’s Nest

There is a trader who goes by the name of Aymond who will give you the Quilt Me Down With a Feather quest. For the quest, you need to collect a Firebird’s plume to help him weave a blanket. To find Aymond, there are no fixed spawn locations for him. His most common location is the Norgandian Settlement, but he could spawn anywhere around the map.
Gagana Feather Location

Having obtained the quest, the player has to go to the Gagana’s Grotto by using a Ferrystone. After arriving, the player should notice that the cave they are required to get to is rather difficult to access because it is too high. In order to gain access to the cave, the Gagana should be lured out of its nest.

For that purpose, one should start off by killing three lizard-type monsters in the vicinity and bringing their bodies close to the cave’s entrance. This will draw the Gagana’s attention and make it fly out of the cave. Once the Gagana comes out, one should attack it until it starts trying to escape. In this case, it will try to flee, and the player should cling to it and let it take them to the cave where the Gagana’s nest is located.

After getting there, the player should approach the center of the nest and pick up the Gagana’s feather. You can then continue to attack the bird monster until it is dead and get some XP and some Level 3 spoils. With the feather in hand, return to Aymond and hand it over. But the quest isn’t completed yet, as Aymond promises to give you something in return at a later time.
Rest at the inn in the settlement and check if your quest objective has been updated. It will mention that he has finished crafting your reward, so find Aymond and speak to him. You will receive the Firebird Cloak, 50K XP, and 20K Gold for completing the quest. The Firebird Cloak offers the following stats when equipped:
- Defense – 500
- Magick Defense – 380
- Slash Resistance – 1
- Strike Resistance – 0
- Knockdown Resistance – 100
- Elemental Resistance (Fire) – +20%
