Crab Shells are a random drop found along the Coastal Jungle’s beaches and are used to craft the decorative Crab Trophy. You’ll usually get them by picking up or killing the small red crabs that scuttle the shore; drop rates can be low, so plan to patrol multiple beach spawn points and keep collecting crab meat while you search. If you’re looking for a new decorative item or simply want to complete the discoveries of the biome, then this quick guide shows the best places to look, how to farm shells efficiently and what to spend them on.
Obtaining Crab Shell

Crab Shell is just a collective item used for decoration, it does not hold any significance or value to it. These can be found on the first biome – Coastal Jungle itself, but there’s very low chances of getting a crab shell as a drop.

Take a stroll along the beaches and harvest any crabs you come across, they drop crab shells sometimes. If you’re having zero luck obtaining a crab shell then try along other coastal jungle islands. You probably need to harvest a lot of crabs to get a crab shell.
Trophy Crab

After you’ve obtained the crab shell, you’ll unlock a new schematic for the Trophy Crab decorative element. It’s not much, but at least I completed my animal hunter collection with this and that was the last discovery I had to make to complete all discoveries of the Coastal Jungle biome.
