The Cursed Swamps’ Crypt promises rich rewards – rare materials, weapons and hidden caches that improve your gameplay by aiding in upgrades. But the ruins are swarming with plague infested enemies. This guide maps the crypt location, highlights high value chests and gives an efficient route so you can clear the crypt and raid treasures without getting overwhelmed.
Crypt Location
The Crypt in the Cursed Swamps appears as one of the points of interest during the main questline – Forgotten Relics. The crypt is occupied by plague enemies, so carry enough heals to survive them.
Entering The Crypt
At the Crypt, look for the structure as shown in the above picture. You’re going to need a rope that needs to be tied on the iron ring to get to the lower level of the Crypt.
Crypt Treasures
After you reach the lower levels of the Crypt, you’ll notice multiple paths and I’ve marked them with a sequence of numbers that we’re going to visit. There’s no sequential order to them, it’s just how I traversed these paths.
Note : Throughout the Crypt, you will face multiple enemies, carry enough healing potions with you.
Path 1
At the first path, you’ll notice multiple rooms that’ve been blocked by dilapidated walls. Out of the 5 rooms, you only need to explore the first room to your right and the farthest room of the path as shown in the above image, where you’ll get to loot a skeleton.
And the first room to the right contains an Old Sarcophagus, but beware of an enemy when you break the dilapidated wall. The sarcophagus does not contain any loot but the information that we obtain from it might be useful in future updates of the game.
Path 2
The rooms along the second path contain several ancient chests and an old sarcophagus while the left hand room opens into a hidden chamber.
Hidden Chamber
Head towards the hidden chamber, you’ll find an ancient chest hidden behind the dilapidated wall on the left side of the room.
And if you look around, you’ll also notice a skeleton and an old sarcophagus in a room. You’ll get the Arboris Saber weapon upon looting the skeleton, which is an item level 10 with 280 base attack damage.
Path 3
The rooms along the third path contain ancient chests and an old sarcophagus. I’ve marked the rooms with the loot in the above image, you just need to break the dilapidated walls that block your way.
Path 4
And the fourth path is unlocked by solving a mechanism, which can be done by lighting up the 2 braziers that can be found near the door’s entrance.
The room is guarded by a Plagued Warrior, this enemy is annoying because he shields most of your attacks. You’ll find an ancient chest inside the room along with the last old sarcophagus in the crypt.
