The Cursed Swamp’s High Priestess is a gauntlet disguised as a boss fight: rooted in place but deadly from range. She forces you to pick your windows carefully rather than brute force the encounter. This guide walks you through the prep, the fight’s key patterns and safe damage windows – so you can clear the Forgotten Relics objective, nab Charon’s Obol and leave the swamp in one piece.
Initiating the High Priestess Boss Fight

In the boss arena, you’ll notice a cursed plant that you need to interact with to start the High Priestess Boss Fight.
High Priestess Moveset Breakdown
High Priestess is a huge boss, her moveset is quite limited as it is easy to counter or dodge but she’s very sturdy and has a lot of HP which drags the fight for quite some time.
Basic Attack

Her basic attacks include hand swipes, hitting with the tongue, these can be very easily countered to break her poise. There’s a short attack window between her basic attacks, and you can land hits 1 or 2 times based on the weapon, if it’s a single handed weapon then you can hit 2 times while a two handed weapon is a bit slow resulting in 1 hit. Whenever she uses her basic attacks, you counter them and then attack her and back to countering her second strike.
Rush Attack

When she is going to use the Rush Attack, it will be indicated by a red sign as shown in the above image. During this move she lunges forward towards you, so dodging sideways is highly recommended so that you won’t get caught in her attack.
Projectile Attack

When you maintain some distance between you and the boss, she’s going to launch projectiles towards you, you can easily evade these projectiles by sprinting.
High Priestess Weak Points

You’ll notice some yellow glowing bubbles on the High Priestess body, these are her weak points. Now, they may not deal damage but it certainly is helpful is depleting her poise at a much faster rate. You can attack them with your sword or shoot them to destroy them which depletes her poise.

And whenever the boss is staggered, a plant emerges from her mouth which you can attack during her recovery, this plant isn’t as sturdy as her body so it’s sensitive to damage. It’s going to take quite some time to defeat her, if you are patient and plan your attacks without being hasty, you can defeat her and you’ll be rewarded with Charon’s Obol.
