Charting the storm lashed waters of Windrose, the Blackbeard Crew’s Maps 1-4 unlock a string of hidden caches that separate novice scavengers from seasoned treasure hunters. This guide walks you through each map’s key landmarks, high value dig spots – so you’ll spend less time digging around and more time unearthing the rewards.
Note : The locations shown in this guide could be and will be different to the ones you get since the game has a procedurally generative map.
How to Obtain the Blackbeard Crew Maps?
You can find the Blackbeard Crew Maps through various ways as you’re progressing through main or side questlines, mostly through treasure chests that you find at blackbeard pirate camps.
Blackbeard Crew’s First Map

For me the Blackbeard Crew’s First Map marker appeared to the far east of the map. When you get to the exact location, look for a skeleton on the ground and you’ll have to dig near the skeleton and you’ll find the treasure chest buried underground. The rewards in these treasures are mostly silver ingots, guinea coins, crafting blueprints and journal notes.
Blackbeard Crew’s Second Map

When you get to the location after getting the Blackbeard Crew’s Second Map, look for a big rock as shown in the above second image and dig the ground around the rock. A few digs should suffice to know if you’re digging at the right spot, look for growing particles while digging – they indicate point of interest.
Blackbeard Crew’s Third Map

Blackbeard’s Third Map leads to a different location, look for a skeleton as shown in the above second picture and dig the ground in front of the skeleton to find the treasure chest.
Blackbeard Crew’s Fourth Map

Head to the location that’s generated after you get the fourth map and as always with these maps, look for a skeleton and you’ll find the treasure chest nearby. In this case, there’s a spot on the ground that practically looks like something is buried there, so dig the spot and claim the rewards from the treasure.
These aren’t the only Blackbeard Crew’s Maps, there are more. Will be posting soon about them, so make sure to follow us for our upcoming guides on Windrose.
