Struggling to solve the Sanctum of Absolution as it involves not only liberating the sanctum but also you need to defeat Antumbra’s Sword which is a really tough boss fight compared to other main story bosses. In this guide, I’ll walk you through the process of cleansing the Sanctum of Absolution.
Where is the Sanctum of Absolution located?
Head to the above location marked on the map as shown in the above image which is south of Scholastone Institute and you’ll reach the Sanctum of Absolution. In order to cleanse the sanctum you need to liberate it from the enemies occupying the sanctum while also defeating the Antumbra’s Sword.

How to cleanse the sanctum?
It’s relatively easy and similar to solving other sanctums, we need to find the missing cores of the sanctum and in this case we need two of them. One of them is a power cell which looks like a cube and the other one is a reactor core which looks like the missing pillar’s head.
Where to find the power cell?
There’s an entrance into the ruins where you fight the Antumbra’s Sword, make your way inside and you’ll see a bunch of pots lying around at a single spot.
Break the pots using your weapon and you’ll be able to see the power cell that’s hidden under the platform behind the pots. Seal it using your kuku pot, you can do this by using the abyss chain on the power cell and you’ll be presented with a seal option.
Where to find the reactor core?
Opposite to where the sanctum is, you’ll see an entrance that leads into the ruins. Go inside and take left, mind you there’s a trap right in front of the doorway so don’t get too close to it as it will activate the trap.
Once you’ve set your eyes onto the left you’ll see another room which has the reactor core, like previously using the kuku pot to seal it and go back to the sanctum.
Cleansing the Sanctum of Absolution
Place the reactor core on the broken pillar and it’ll align itself automatically, you just need to bring it closer to the pillar. Then climb on top of the pillar and use aerial force palm skill to push the reactor core into place.
Do the same with the power cell, except you just need to use the force palm skill to fix it in its rightful position.
