Black Myth Wukong All Celestial Pill Locations

One of the most important collectibles in Black Myth: Wukong are Celestial Medicines because they give a permanent boost to your health, mana, and stamina. You can find these rare pills in every chapter. These medicines are very valuable as they allow players to improve survivability. This guide will show you where to find every Celestial Pill in each chapter of Black Myth: Wukong so that you can collect all the medicines and obtain the achievement “Medicine Meal.”

Black Wind Mountain (Chapter 1)

You can collect all three Celestial Medicines naturally while progressing through the first chapter.

Stamina (Nonary)

Black Wind Cave – Outside the Cave

As you make your way up to Bodhi Peak from the Outside of the Cave shrine, just prior to reaching the stairs, look to your left and you will find a gold colored chest lying directly along the story path; inside it, you will find the pill.

Health (Jade Lotus)

Forest of Wolves – Guanyin Temple

After defeating Lingxuzi, move into the next temple area on the left. The pill appears as a glowing gold item in plain view.

Mana (Taiyi)

Bamboo Grove – Marsh of White Mist

This one is near the shrine, simply walk along the wooden pathways that lead towards the cave (the fight with the Whiteclad Noble took place here), and continue straight ahead until you get to a meditation area. You will see a golden box next to the meditation area that contains the pill, before the right-hand route leading deeper into the cave.

Yellow Wind Ridge (Chapter 2)

This chapter hides one pill behind cave exploration and another behind a boss-related unlock.

Mana (Taiyi)

Fright Cliff – Rock Clash Platform

Immediately after leaving the shrine, follow the main route. The pill sits along the path in a small golden container.

Stamina (Nonary)

Sandgate Village – Valley of Despair

Take the right path from the shrine into a cave. Drop down after the first enemies, cross a broken pillar under ranged attacks, and squeeze through the narrow opening. Defeat the Swift Bat, ignore the right path, and push forward through two more bats. The pill is found at the end in a golden chest.

Health (Jade Lotus)

Crouching Tiger Temple – Temple Entrance. After beating Tiger Vanguard, interact with the statue in the arena using the Sterness of Stone (dropped by Stone Vanguard). A hatch opens in the floor. Drop down and follow the corridor to find the pill on the left.

The New West (Chapter 3)

Most of this chapter’s pills are placed on linear routes, with one requiring careful navigation.

Mana (Taiyi)

Pagoda Realm – Outside the Wheel

Move forward from the shrine, travel through a water-filled cave, and continue along the narrow path outside. The pill appears on the right side of the trail.

Health (Jade Lotus)

Bitter Lake – Turtle Island. Turn around from the shrine and descend the cliffs slightly to the right until reaching the lowest level. Follow the southern edge of the island to locate the golden container.

Stamina (Nonary)

New Thunderclap Temple – Temple Entrance. Pass through the wooden structures and staircases until you cross a wooden bridge near the horse NPC. Jump off the bridge’s left side into a frozen pond. The pill is inside a small golden container, guarded by enemies.

The Webbed Hollow (Chapter 4)

This chapter includes a missable Celestial Medicine tied to a side quest.

Mana (Taiyi)

Webbed Hollow – Cliff of Oblivion. Defeat Buddha’s Right Hand, cross the broken hand, and climb along the left side to find the golden container.

Stamina (Nonary)

Purple Altars Questline Reward. After completing the Purple Altars quest and defeating the Supreme Inspector, the pill appears directly ahead.

Important: This quest must be finished before facing the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master, or the pill becomes unobtainable.

Health (Jade Lotus)

Village of Lanxi – Estate of the Zhu

After defeating The Second Sister, search the next area. The pill rests on a table at the back, before dropping into the dark pit.

Flaming Mountains (Chapter 5)

Two pills are placed in obvious shrine-adjacent spots, while the third requires accessing a hidden area.

Health (Jade Lotus)

Woods of Ember – Ashen Pass II. Turn around upon reaching the shrine. The pill is immediately visible in a golden container across from it.

Stamina (Nonary)

Bishui Cave – Purge Pit (Secret Area). Reach the secret area by completing the Five Element Carts quest. From the first shrine, go downstairs. After defeating Top Takes Bottom, Bottom Takes Top, move upstairs and enter the first alcove on the left.

Mana (Taiyi)

Furnace Valley – Rakshasa Palace. The pill sits beside the shrine on the right, placed in a small golden container.

Mount Huaguo (Chapter 6)

Five Skandhas Pill (All Stats Increase)

Defeat the Giant Shigandang superboss, then speak to Xu Dog. This boss only appears after collecting all four Skandhas. The reward increases health, mana, and stamina at the same time.

What is Celestial Medicine?

Celestial Medicines are permanent stat upgrades and one of the most valuable collectibles in Black Myth: Wukong. These pills directly raise the Destined One’s maximum health, mana, and stamina, making them essential for surviving later encounters.

A total of 15 Celestial Medicines are scattered across the main chapters. They are divided into three categories:

  • Jade Lotus Pills – increase Health
  • Taiyi Pills – increase Mana
  • Nonary Pills – increase Stamina

Every chapter contains three pills, one from each category. Finding five of every type unlocks the Medicine Meal achievement.
