If you’re stuck on the Cold Storage quest in ARC Raiders, don’t worry, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know. The mission is pretty straightforward once you know where to look, but it can be confusing the first time, especially with the container locations. In this guide, you’ll find the easiest spots to get the Rare Books, how to extract safely, and what to do if the quest bugs out.
Cold Storage Quest Guide

To finish the ‘Cold Storage’ quest in Arc Raiders, you’ll need to drop into Stella Montis and track down the J Kozma Ventures Container. Once you find it, grab the Rare Books inside and make it back to Shani. Just remember, you have to do everything in a single run, so don’t quit or die before handing the books over.
J Kozma Ventures Container Location

You’ll find the J Kozma Ventures container just south of Cargo Dock B. When you arrive, you’ll notice a bunch of Su Durante freight containers stacked around the area. Look for a zipline attached to one of them. Ride it across, and you’ll land near an old white/grey container you can interact with. Search inside, pick up the Rare Books on the floor, and then get out safely to finish the quest.

Another great spot to complete this mission is the Lobby Metro area. Right in the middle, behind the extraction point, there’s a white J Kozma Ventures container you can interact with. Open it, grab the Old World Books, and keep them in your inventory.
There might be more of these containers scattered around the map, so keep an eye out as you explore. Once you find the books, move them to your safe pocket right away so that you won’t lose them if you die before finishing the run. After you safely make it back to Speranza, hand the books over to Shani to complete the Cold Storage quest.
When you return to base, give the books to Shani. She’ll thank you for saving them and reward you with a few gas mines and a Raider Hatch key. The quest appears to be bugged sometimes. Even if you pick up the book, it doesn’t progress. Try restarting the game, or wait for a patch to fix it.
